I remember i used to watch sooo many shows where the dream sequences were so much more chemistry-filled than the actual scenes between the couple and I would be SO disappointed.

I'd rather they utilize the diwali-type chemistry on rare, special occasions where it comes naturally than force it in our faces to the point where each scene just looks bland and the same - i'd rather be like OMG THATT was SO GOODD and have that scene stick out in my memory than every scene being along the spectrum of "goodness"

I so totally agree vith everything you have said 😊
It vas all a khushi dream which had arnav doing all sort of mushiness :) it vas her dream of a happier better future becoz the man she loves has confessed to her! Its so like vhat any girl would dream and owing to the simplicity of khushi, this dream suited her character!
And the intensity which comes out in real scenes between arhi is becoz none of them has imagined it in a particular way! It happens spontaneously when they both are infront of each other :) nothing goes according to one's particular desire or plan! It just happens!
But this dream vas Khushi's romantic moment vith her love
And yes the actual scenes should be more chemistry-filled and romantic thans the dreams becoz only then the *realness* "spontaneity" and the "unbelievable, beyond expectations intensity" comes to fore :)

i felt it was complete...though i agree it did look like it was rushed..but maybe that's coz Barun has less time to offer for the show as of now..and moreover both look so tired..my poor bachas..i want them to take proper rest ..other wise nothing was missing along the intensity/love terms..

Two things
First the scene was a bit rushed since Barun has less time nowadays.
Second we haven't seen cheesy ASR ever in IPK. Even when the love track was shown for about 3 to 4 weeks it was very much in ASR style. This dream belongs to Khushi and Khushi wants ASR cheesy and extremely Romantic fairy tale like . That's why we felt that.
Nothing wrong with it otherwise.

I think it was ok.Nothing was wrong or missing. Its just that we cant imagine Arnav doing something like giving a pearl necklace or a bottle with "I love you" message in it.These actions are sweet but actually Arnav has always been passionate and we expect passion when we see them together, but this was Khushi's imagination and she imagines him as sweet and loving compared to passionate and intense, therefore there was a difference.
Secondly, too many emotions were being reflected on Arnav's face, the ones Khushi wants to see: regret, guilt, pain, joy and love, which gave a huddled effect altogether and not the usual expressions we get from Arnav, wherein each fleeting emotion is expressed in detail and with perfection. In "jadu hai nasha hai" sequence Arnav was mesmerised and he found Khushi irresistable and at that moment those were the only emotions, there was no guilt, regret, joy and sorrow attached to it, so it was done in perfection. In "teri meri", it was the first realization/understanding of a deep and binding love,it was shown that way, Arnav and Khushi complimented each other, it was beautifully done, Arnav had to express that he was the man in her life, there for her when she needs him most, the man who cannot see his woman losing or dejected and that was what it was all about, other emotion were not attached and neither reflected. The kiss sequence was about desire and we saw a flirtatious, challenging Arnav, those expressions were perfect, they were not disturbed by any other underlying emotions.
Point is whenever we felt perfect chemistry were times when a particular emotion was depicted in utmost detail and perfection. Here it was a dream sequence in which Khushi conjured up Arnav having the feelings she expects him to have now: guilt, regret, sorrow, joy and love and all were fleetingly present, which gave the scene a disjointed feel.
Phew...I hope I was able to explain what I wanted to say...lol...apologies for such a long post but I wanted to do justice to the thread maker and my reply :)

i agree the intensity was missing and seemed more like barun and not arnav...in all other scene he was perfect-the rage while captured was gr8, and infact even within dream sequence few shots he was like arnav-but it was 50-50,.khushi was fine i thought...
but perhaps its good to have a half baked so when the actual confession and romance comes in...they look good and not overdose
