Literally he is saying i am convincing u guys coz i love u - he loves his parents so he took the time to convince them same as he is doing now..
He is saying that coz he is modest , he thinks we like ASR coz of ASR...he doesn't make any assumptions that we love ASR coz of Barun..poor guy, he comes to pacify and get crucified for his simple words!

Barun does not realize that not a lot of TV stars who have left TV for movies have been successful. The reason these stars are successful is becoz of their characters. BS has done other serials before but he was never the heartthrob he is now.

Movie stars have a different persona itself. It is always a Salman or an Aaamir that we remember not the name of the character they play. TV stars never really rise above their characters and in that what Barun said was right. But I really am not sure BS has it in him. I dont think I will watch a movie just becoz BS is in it. Also the movie that BS is doing is not a big banner big production movie. He is not even the main star. I think if he was really interested in making it big in movies he should have waited for a bigger break.

If you think you sitting in this forum know all this, but Barun who is working in that industry doesn't know it???
He did say in his interview last week that I know that it hasn't worked for lot of TV actors..but it all depends on the fate of the movie and your destiny..
You can't stop taking risk in your life thinking ehh I don't think this will work, coz it hasn't work for most of the people..people who don't take risks are cowards..
Everyone has to try their luck and be optimistic, for negative thinking people, negative things only will happen..

Even if his film fails, he has a tv career, he is not stupid like other actors who left the show..but instead of appreciating him people everywhere are bashing him...Those people are very selfish because they just want their happiness (that is Barun back as ASR rite now), they don't care if Barun can make a better career,..
