A show does not require the lead all the time..there has been many shows which survived without leads when the lead went away in between sometimes... they planned dramatic track at that point and kept the viewer's engaged ...which is what IP is doing now ...but the drama quotient has to be tweaked a bit more ...ppl will not be interested in Khushi realizing her love, they will be more interested and shocked when Shyam begins to lust , their sympathy will awaken and they will begin to root for the girl plus their morbid curiosity will get them to tune in to know what new torment has Shyam designed ...

The story has gone ahead , actually and that too in Arnav's absence ..

yes it was indeed very easy for Arnav to fall for Khushi but For Khushi to realize that she loves Arnav is the most difficult thing, may be because Arnav always had an outer cover and for Khushi to love Arnav, she had to break the outer shield and look though inside..

For writers also , it would be difficult to make Khushi realize her love... As she stays in the fantasy land and had a fairy tale dream of being in love.. Now this is a reality check and Khushi is now truly understanding her Hidden Prince... Beauty and the beast... 😊
