Testing times indeed, Sunshine!
Oh the sorrow. But generally quite a calm episode, with some delightful acting from both Daljeet and Sanaya, and dare I say *cough the kid who plays Bubli cough*
If previously we felt the silence of Khushi, then today it was the absence of Arnav which pricked our hearts. Truthfully speaking, It is the mutual presence of both which really strikes a chord with the viewers and which makes IPKND what it is!

So true sunshine99!! I'll be brutally honest, my thoughts did waver whilst watching this episode - only one episode in, and already I'm pining for Sobti's return! Thankfully, the flash backs took care of any longing feelings! After all, what is IPKND without ASR, or indeed, what is ASR without Sobti!
But in all seriousness, I was absolutely glued to the screen during Khushi and Anjali's moment of bonding; though it was a moment of woe, both did brilliantly to convey their true emotions with regards to their present state of mind. It felt as if both were singing off the same hymn sheet, but using different notes. Though it was a shared moment, it was clear that both were immersed in their own personal grief. It was a conversation in which feelings of pain and anguish were being communicated, but ultimately, what we were presented with were two very different conversations. At least it came across that way.
Sanaya was superb here in the way in which she exposed all of that hurt, pain and guilt; letting herself go in front of the very person who could probably set her free. At one point, her eyes shot up in fear and then panic, at the thought of Anjali knowing the truth behind her sadness. You could also see the guilt seep through in that moment as well, perhaps realising just how deep a hole she has dug by hiding Shyam's truth.
Daljeet was equally powerful in her role as Anjali. I truly felt her power and authority in the way in which she consoled Khushi. She may be softly spoken, but what she says is stated with firm conviction. Ha, loved the way she raised her voice at Akaash ' God knows, he needs a bloody wake up call! It was interesting how she asserted her position, first and foremost as Arnav's sister, claiming that had Arnav wanted to listen, he would have done so through her advice. And for a split moment, it did seem that her eyes were hinting at something, not sure what though. Whatever it is, I'm sure there's still a lot more to her character than what we've already seen. Either way, it seems that she's a force to be reckoned with ' surprise us CVs!
