Did Arnav deserve to know Shyam's reality the first time when Khushi came to know the truth!? He did.But did he deserve to have an explanation of it today!? No. When Khushi knew the truth - her biggest blunder of that time - she had to tell it to someone - and she did not. She brought whatever followed to herself. But when Arnav came to know the truth - he had an option - he could have confronted her - and she might have told him the truth then and there. So - yes he did lose out on the chance to have an explanation there.
But for Khushi it is important to realize that even though sometimes silence is an option - but not the best option. Her silence always costs her and maybe she needs to realize that it is important to confide in someone. Had she confessed to him directly on the terrace itself - he may have not believed her - but he would not have also come up with that she cooked the story. Her indifference to how she behaves and conducts herself is what gives rise to misunderstandings and she needs to know its better to be selfish than selfless at times.
Take a bow Sanaya Irani - Take a bow!! 👏 The pain in her eyes and the hurt in them while she smiled throughout making Arnav believe that she was least bothered - Just WOW!! Barun always is mind blowing in the emotional scenes but Sanaya was brilliant today! And that is why we want to see more of emotional scenes that touch the heart because if Barun is Fab Sanaya is no less - she needs to have better scenes than screeching comedy nonsense.

Hope - that is the hope in his heart that maybe she could just say something that would change his perception - that would end the confusion between his mind and heart - that would give him peace at the very least. When he tells her the reality of the marriage and he thinks about the confrontation - all we see is the confusion he has - where one place he knows she is affected by him and there are feelings for him - while the other side he has seen her in shyam's embrace - who can he believe!? One is his heart and the other is the brain - both on a war path with each other. If he wants to believe one - he has to forget the other and it is not easy because one affects his di and the other affects his Khushi.
Khushi does not know as of now that he hurts not only because he saw her with Shyam - affecting Anjali on the way - but he hurts more so because for a man his caliber - love was not easy to express and - and seeing the girl he loved in the arms of other was not a piece of cake for him. The day she knows that he loved her then and loves her always - she will see through his pain, his angusih and understand WHY at that moment he did not confront her - and was scared to do so. The day she would understand Arnav and his fears she will get the answer to her question on why Arnav never asked her the truth on their wedding day.
After covering the three important dialogues of the episode today - I will touch on the other points.

khushi maintainin her silence ...swallowing her tears...failing to understand that the same truth which again she is holding back..is going to come back to her like a missile...
