She is lost somewhere.
If the CVs are using IPL as a pathetic excuse to slowly destroy the characters and the storyline, then I am really disappointed. Because no matter what, viewers of this show will take out time to watch the show. So that should be no excuse to disintegrate the amazing story it was shaping up to be.

However having said that, I still have hope that it will return.

We have seen the spirited Khushi die down and a comedic Khushi take place. Then suddenly we see a spirited Khushi take place once more.
So hopefully next week will be a progress in terms of the characters returning to their original self, and the storyline progressing.

Fari all i can say is that dont remind me that once upon a time this show was inspired from M&B! cause nowadays i think i have forgotten that there were something called intensity in this show.. what you said that illogical things are bound to happen in a show.. the daily soaps starts in a illogical way.. doesnt it? tell me which girl ends up in a fashion and lands on hero's arms directly?? so thats not the point here! we love illogical and baseless things thats why we watch this show but logical.. means which people can enjoy here according to me!!

from the past two months the story havent moved a inch.. the characters to Allah bachaye mujhe!! where is that ASR who had landed lucknow in that helicopter! where is that Khushi who had given him a piece of her mind and make him so helpless that he was bound to think about her! where is that ASR and Khushi.. of that Darga scene.. such power and such intensity! gosh.. i feel like crying when i watch the previous scenes!! Fari you remember that character dheela part?? that was something M&B like.. the pearls breaking.. the teej.. and guest house..!! the way she threw the contract papers in his face.. NAYI SOCH!! and now what has this show become.. i am not going to follow anything here which others show follows.. why there should be all this? this is not like any other..ok this WAS not like any other crap thats why i started watching it!!

not only Khushi.. Arnav.. Shyam,,Anjali.. all the characters are RUINED! and gues what i really dont think that now any thing can be cone.. its easy to ruin a good thing buts its VERY difficult to get back the good one from already ruined!! they can do anything?? may be but they wont!! they have taken the audience for granted! but i wonder for how long SI an BS will handle it?? and pls no IPL reasoning!!! the show is ruined.. characters are ruined and hardly i have any hopes now..of course i will watch it with BS and SI till they are there i am also there BUT ..there is a but and you know what it means!

Hey Fari🤗

Interesting topic, you've brought up a lot of issues with the current state of the IPK and the current state of the forum!😆

To be frank I still think this whole forced marriage track triggered IPK in the downward spiral that is still going down in with a few redeeming moments here and there with some deserving episodes and moments. But I think the ME and revelation of the MU will be the turn of the tide we're all desperately hoping for! Will help restore IPK to what it was before. The whole delivery of the MU, from how ASR found out, to his reaction to the way Khushi still doesn't have a clue about it is flawed. They've compromised both characters for the sake of dragging this MU and it's a pity because before this track came along the characters have remained fairly consistent with growth. After this MU forced marriage track, the CVS have aimed to show intensity and sometimes damaged ASR's character by portraying him as extremely cruel and also at times made him seem bipolar but adding in these supposedly soft moments when he warms and feels for her. Likewise with Khushi, the CVS have aimed for comedy where they've ended up reducing her character to a simple caricature of what she was before, shredding her of the real depth she had before. Too much damage. With a few moments here and there, I've felt Khushi's behaviour and reaction until yesterday's suicide has been fairly justified, she's been lashing out at Arnav in her own cunning chamkeli way without being reduced to a glycerine-fied SP bahu (thank you CVS) but this suicide track is wrong. Seeing Khushi behave effectively defeated and resigned to her fate at the hands of ASR sort of kills the story. The tension goes missing because though Khushi can be quirky, silly and funny she can be equally feisty and vicious - like her reaction to ASR endangering her life after GH sequence. Yesterday's track practically undid/cancelled or made a mockery of the Khushi we've witnessed before.

The Lizzification of Khushi, I love P&P, one of my complete favourites and the initial IPK episodes does have traces of it, especially the dynamic between ArHi and Elizabeth and Darcy being similar. Khushi is lively, witty and extremely caring like Elizabeth who'd garnered interest of the more cute, stand-offish, aloof, extremely proud and usually silent ASR just like Mr. Darcy but this MU has done a lot of damage. I hope that somehow the writers can bring the story back to these kind of lines again!

agree on all your points, especially about comparisons.
Well being a die hard P&P fan who has read it meticulously every year from grade 7, I can say easily that Lizzy or elizabeth bennet or eliza bennet or elizabeth fitzwilliam darcy is and always will be my favorite fictional character.
The reason I loved Khushi from word go was because of the resemblance I saw between her and Lizzy.
Khushi too is strong, speaks her mind, is beautiful (eliza only had a pair of fine eyes and a pleasing figure) and completely lively.
Khushi too loves her sister and thinks for everyone.
She too had a wickham (shyam) but thankfully she never got attracted to him unlike Lizzy. Here she is one up than even Lizzy.
She too is devoted to her father , like lizzy.
But the difference is lizzy was dignified, she spurned darcy and then he had to win her back.
She was very sensible till the very end.
Here we lost Khushi. Her sense faculties has been shown to have become less and she has resorted to doing things that are not so dignified.
But then Lizzy did not have a contract marriage or did not have to go through a scumbug like shyam each day.
Given that and hoping for some major changes which will bring Khushi back, I still think Khushi's lizzyfication will happen

WOW!!!! Fari u have said it all!!! U've put it in a very mature manner!

I cant agree more!!!

When ever I recommended this show to any of my new freinds I did always maintain that it is the combination of P&P and M&B!!

the charm of the show has diminished to a freat level! the passion, the intensity the chemistry is lost!! I think it's very lame to blame on some IPL or lead actor taking a trip abroad!!!

I am a crazy fan of IPKKND, so i still have hopes left, n expect that CV's just bounce back with the show with this flimsiest MU clearing up!!!

The title is awesome sweet heart!!! Although I joined a little late so missed Darcification!😉

thoughtful Fari :)

yes, some of the game plan did include the growth and maturity of the character Khushi; but not much depth has been added to it later i guess..

we have questioned why everyone thinks Khushi is silly and also think ASR who fell in love with his silliness.. has he gotten a choice.. the mature graph of the character has never been consistent.. there at times.. not there at times.. so the only thing he can smirk about is the salman's poster 😆 and the character of Arnav just got meaner.. extremity sigh*!!!

as much as there has been a darcification of Arnav; there should be a lizzyfication of Khushi.. i know that'd be too much to ask of a ASR loves Khushi story, but only that would make a sensible and interesting watch plus justify Sanaya's prowess more!

i also miss those baby days of the forum you know? things were so smoothly intense! :)

The entire tone of the story has been lost. Endless comedy on serious subjects of unrequited love, adultery and forced marriages with a dash of attempted murder. How does comedy translate into these themes. It doesn't and that's why the protagonist/victim who should be dealing with these situations with a bit of gravity and is instead toing toing around the house, screaming like a banshee and hallucinating murder by rat poison is not resonating with anyone except those who turn in to only watch a guy and girl in the same frame or the actors' die hard fans.

The PH has lost it. They are at the edge of losing this show.

Don't even remind us how IPKKND was before the contract marriage track😭. My heart aches thinking about what went wrong with such a promising show😭. Since the contract marriage, we have only seen glimpses on the characters we knew, everything else was mindless comedy😡. I know some people liked the comedy and I do not mind it, but comedy always! Khushi was such a strong character and strong women who stood up and was able to give a piece of her mind to Arnav. And agree she was more like Lizzy then. Now toh... oh I'm not even getting words to describe her behavior. I liked IPKKND for its intensity and the cuteness and occasional stupidity of KKGSR. There seemed to a good balance between the two. But, now its more of the latter than the intensity. CV's have managed to convert some of the intense moments into utter nonsensical comedy. Someone pls remind them that they need not try so hard to give us comedy. Khushi in her basic character/elements is humorous enough and that was the genuine humor that I enjoyed. I don't understand how can she think Arnav and La are planning to kill her. Wasn't La her friend (I think this point was raised by Priya)? The whole Arnav planning to kill her didn't fit well with me at all and the way the whole thing was handled was a sore to the eye. I hope they get the intensity back once Arnav blurts the truth. I repeat it again... pls CV's do not try hard to get comedy in. Khushi in her basic form is very cute and funny... go and watch he office and the pre-diwali track to know what I'm saying.

IPL... what IPL... i recently watched few episodes of this other show about a cancer patient. Looks like they have all their powerful tracks planned during IPL. and it worked just great for them. If IPL was the excuse for the comedy, I am going to kill the CV's if they pull another comedy track post monday...well not literally kill😉.

PS: How many of you are with me when I say we shud send the IPKKND track before Payash mehndi to CV's to remind them about what the show was all about? Looks like we need to play it everyday like in 50 first dates to recover them from their daily partial amnesia😭😭😭

Lizzy will always remain as the best female character for me...Comparison between KKG and Lizzy in the beginning was justified...but never in the wildest dreams would lizzy be reduced to what KKG is now...I fail to see any trace of lizzy in KKG now...its a sad state of characterization...if only somebody from those initial writers bring back the comparison...
