Glad to see that so many of you agree with me! The IPL does not seem to effect other shows, then why IPK? And blaming everything on the IPL makes no sense!
I also hate it when we are constantly, forcefully reminded that the actors, writers, CVs and everyone else on the show work very hard. Well, so does my dad, and everyone else who earns for a living! That is no excuse to giving us illogical episodes! Waste their energy on something that makes sense, instead of this nonsense we are shown nowadays!

Someone mentioned that the team of IPK has taken the success to their heads, well i think I kinda agree. They think that no matter what they show the audience, the audience will be too in love with the cast to notice. Just because we like your leads, does not mean that we are okay with this crap you are showing us ..atleast some of us are not!

IMO its a big reason to worry! Other shows are doing well ... the IPL hasn't affected them much so I refuse to buy the entire IPL is responsible for poor episodes crap. I guess the cvs have started taking this show and its audience for granted. The success has probably gone to their heads or they think the audience loves this show so much that they'll continue to take all the crap they throw at us.

My mom watches the show which air after IPKKND at 8,30.. I saw it for a bit and they had some really intense power packed performances and I was like how come these guys are moving forward with their story lines and not waiting for the IPL to get over .. The cvs need to do some major damage control or very soon the loyal viewers lime me also might stop watching 😭

Sorry for the rant but I am just so sad today 😭

I know we are not supposed to compare shows.. but i also watched the show after the IPK in the last few days and they are nmoving ahead so well.. every episode something is happening

Agreeed

yesterday for the first time ever, I timed, I lasted longer in the living room when my mother was watching Saathiya then I did an hour later when I came to watch IPKKND. I never thought it would reach a stage where I'd watch the Modi family, even in if it was in passing, for longer than our show.

The worst thing ever was that I watched the end of IPK and then I stayed to watch Ek Hazaaron mein. I don't watch that show regularly, although recently with the cancer track I have been. I felt sick yesterday. After watching the ridiculous Khushi antics which was a total character suicide at best, where life and human intelligence was made a mockery of, to the high drama of Ek hazaaron mein where they showed Manvi breaking down over her helplessness with cancer and a sister in critical condition. I'm not gonna judge other shows, but I had a horrible taste in my mouth when I thought about how Khushi is being portrayed compared to Manvi who has a very similar personality.

The CVs have finally done it. They destroyed every last shred of respect I had for Khushi's character by officially portraying her as the dumbest, stupidest, lamest Bimbo of the show that includes Mami, Lavanya, Payal and Anjili. How Khushi could reach the conclusion that her husband is a serial killer totally beats me; if anything it concludes that she is actually hollow in the head.
The CVs decided to ignore the fact that they originally presented her as a smart character a long time ago; so it's only natural that she somehow deduce that the only atheist she knows is going to do something based on his horoscope according to some crackpot presenter on a show he took the piss out of when she watched it in his room all that time ago.

But even if we accept that she is stupid; I cannot accept that Khushi would place such little value on her own life. Suicide is not a f**king joke; I don't bloody care if they are trying to suggest that Khushi was just being her dumb self and obviously hadn't thought things through when she said she'd end it herself. Yesterday I didn't laugh and I sure as hell didn't feel sorry for her; all I felt was disgust at the total disregard for human life and human intelligence. If she really felt her life was at threat, surely the natural thing to do is to try and seek protection?

If they had shown Khushi feeling low because of all the hurtful crap that's been thrown at her; or because of the pain she has received from Shyam and Arnav; if they actually showed even an inkling of the psychological pain that forces a person to even consider ending it- I wouldn't have minded a suicide track on IPK. I would have cried with Khushi. But this is insulting frankly; even if it is supposed to be taken lightly and funny and oh ha ha ha Khushi is so over the top.

Anyone who tries to justify her antics with the fact that she is only 18 or 21 or 22 or whatever her age is; I will say that I'm 18, a lot of other people on this forum are the same age. And nobody, even the most childish people, act that stupid all the time. Nobody is so childish that they reach the conclusion that their husband is a serial killer ffs.

Seriously, I am simply amazed that the CVs found no other way to get Arnav to spill the beans.
There are hundreds of OS/SS/FFs that have been written on exactly this; yet all they can come up with is lameass comedy?
