A much needed episode to revive the confidence and interest of the core followers of the show. Domestic & International viewers require a solid plot, with solid characters and solid narration. IPK for the past 2 months has been slipping on all these counts and intelligent audience cannot be fooled by silly tracks of 101 ways of irritating a husband when a huge MU looms. It seems my petition finally reached the Cvs !!!

No reason to rejoice yet but my faith in the IPK team as to they are a talented bunch when they want to be , is confirmed.

If yesterday was Arnie's battle between dil & dimmag after accidentally discovering the wrapping paper today was Khushi's turn when she over hears the convo between Arnie & Ankur. Both unsure and wary of the other , unable to translate each otehr actions and words.

Start was a bit cliched with Arnie lecturing the groom, Khushi lecturing the baraaties and the groom lecturing his family. Yes we get the point Arnie recognizing and attacking the root cause of the issue using his dimaag and Khushi aiming for the heart strings . Finally the wedding takes place . What I liked was the dance sequence that followed. There is no better site for Arnie than to see his Khushi in merriment. Reminded me of the Holi sequence when he was drawn to her and held his butterfly for a few minutes before he released her. He never dances yet agreed to join starting with unsure steps as if looking for a cue from her . The Gupta ladies happy to see him shake a leg when Arnie is reminded of the terrace leaving Khushi confused.

The best scene of the day was the Mother - daughter conversation. Any married girl would relate to a scene as this when a mother inquires if her daughter is happy with the man she married. I have read a lot of comments about Garima as a mother in the past and how at times she has let Khushi down being partial to Payal . I have never viewed it this way coz I know a mother loves all her children equally only she displays it differently with each kid as per their need and requirement. If Garima slapped her in front of everyone when she got married I felt it could be done differently but was justified. if she thought Shyam was a good guy for Khushi was because she was deceived. Whatever the faults of a mother , she can never be doubted for her good intentions .

What's lacking though is she sensed a "khalish" between the two but is unable to read her daughter and her life long ability to hide teh truth behind a smile. This is where I think Garima and the family fail. They have never been able to see the pain that Khushi hides behind the facade WAs very touched at the dialogue " Thankfully I can face your mother in heaven now ". and Khushi's response "You are not answerable to anyone as you are my mother .."

The scene in the bed and what is to follow...Arnie's anguish is back. There were so may instances in the good old days when he would wake up with a start and call out to Khushi. Finally he has her by his side yet feels she is distant. How true Khushi , you read it right . He held her hand at the thought that you will run away... That's exactly what Arnie thinks only if you could understand the meaning of what you just said.

So its fun and games tomorrow with Arnie trying to kill her...

And A Happy Birthday to our Dear Shweta & Diya ... Hope you had a wonderful day. I arranged this good episode just for you girls 😃

Don't know how many of you saw these, but looks like Arnie's trying to make nice by serving her tea...

That doesn't look like a woman's arm serving her, (if it is, then Buaji or Amma need to hit the salon ASAP for a spot of waxing)

to your bad luck Sush, there was a poll on SP FB on which lead having the best hairstyle and khushi won.. so no changes there 😆

one'd have to be an ASR face to not like the epi! wishing that they keep it this way though! very true with the contrasts drawn and it is this contrasts that keep the chemistry alive! if we get a KKG pulling off an ASR or an ASR pulling of a KKG; there would be no point cause well opposites attract!! 😆 also loved the part where khushi over hears The groom and Arnie's convo.. both of them over heard certain parts and wish both of them use whatever they have to heart or brain.. doesn't matter but the story needs to move!

The precap was one of the best in recent times! and ironically it was like they were doing each other's part! but who would complain about a man sweating and holding his wife's hand? ;-) i hope they don't add Khushi's dialogue in the precap and the knife promo and give us some mindless IPK! 🤢

Self-realization & moment of self-introspection; it was a beautiful tale of Sundari & Shaitan... Contrasting styles of approaching the same problem; ASR's business style execution achieving desired results vs Khushi's emotional plea that went on deaf ears...Greedy relatives wouldn't hesitate to call of the wedding...🤢

Damaadji yet again excelled in arm twisting his employee into submission but when it came to matters of his heart; he realized he was falling way short. He convinced everyone he was a man with a golden heart, any mother would dream for their daughter. But to his wife, he was shaitan himself.

He expects his employees to respect their wife but why is he indifferent to his own wife? A moment of self-realization as she decodes this complex man...

"Ek pal mein in pe itna pyaar aur doosre pal mein inse itna dar lagta hai..."

She finally admits to herself she loves him...but at the same time she is left wondering ...What could be the reason...She is determined to find out...👏

ASR has witnessed her lying on at least 2 occasions; one was to her friends & today to her mother. Both times it was for a good cause; to protect her loved ones, he included. But today's lies should have much more impact. "Amma" is very sacred to ASR; today he heard her lying to her mother & she was covering up to protect him. That is indeed a breakthrough in their relationship...He knows how much Khushi values her adopted parents...Both have lost their parents and this is where they both have connected on an emotional level even in the past. They could relate to this common void in their lives.

It is breakthrough cause when he finds out the truth; he would want to know why she didn't tell him the truth. Now he will believe her when she says she didn't want to hurt him or Anjali. He has seen the pattern; she hides stuff, takes it upon herself, and takes in all the hurt to keep others happy. Today her lies hurt him and it was a moment of introspection...The guilt trip is on...Why would she or why should she cover up for him if she loved Shyam?

ASR has a clear perception of right & wrong. Behind the tough exterior; there is a person who has a conscience. Today he realized there was something deeply wrong; something just doesn't add up & he had failed as a husband. Yes, Preeto's marriage made him realize his role as a husband. All this time she was a girl he loved but today he realized she was his wife in the truest sense and he had some responsibility. He realized he hadn't fulfilled his end of the bargain of respecting her, her wishes and her dreams.

She essentially showed him the mirror although she wasn't aware of it. This is a zameer jaagnewala moment...👏 In the past; both nani & Anjali have successfully manipulated him with emotional gambling. But this is real...He has snatched her dreams to save his sis's marriage. He took out his anger on an innocent girl. It was an impulsive decision that wasn't thought out. So he will make sure he will pay for it. A self-imposed punishment in the making...

"Ek anjaani, ankahi khalish dikhai deti hai tum dono ke beech..."

That was a mother's instinct...Garima's conversation was beautiful👏👏👏 Like any mother she wanted that reassurance that all is well. This was the first time they explored this relationship. They always showed a Garima who cared more for Payal but today she showed Khushi was just as much a daughter...Garima's conversation also brought out the emotional aspect of a hurting mother who was acting as a placeholder for Khushi's mother. When she said she was answerable to a dead mom; the message really was for ASR. There is a mother who cares just as much for her daughter... He is answerable to Khushi's dead parents too...👏 For someone who lost his parents; he values it more than life. He will take this personally...

I was a little disappointed Garima didn't ask her about Shyam...that would be the first question any mother would ask of their daughter. Well, that would essentially bring out the truth but they could have at least shown that after he leaves the room saving the dhamaka for a later date...

She assures her mother; painting a picture that was far from reality... Arnavji iss duniya ke sabse acche pati hai...

1. Hamaare chehre pe muskurahat laane ki jee-tod koshish karenge...
2. Agar hamein zara si bhi kharoch aayi tho humse zyaada takleef unhe hoti hai...
3. Hamaare ankhon mein aansoon unhe bilkul bhi bardaasht nahi hote...
4. Kabhi kabhi hamein dar lagta hai, hum chaand taare bhi maang le, woh bhi de denge...

We as the audience would check "all of the above" but for Khushi, none of the above is true but she still puts on a brave face and defends him👏👏👏 He was shamefaced...

For the first time they showed us what is on Khushi's mind👏 Behind all the false bravado; there is a girl who is scared. She was thrown out of the bedroom onto the pool area...She was threatened with her sis's fake divorce papers...Then the incident after Heer-Ranjha...She has every reasons to be fearful of his rage... Despite all the hardships she has endured she is determined to find out what went wrong...Being the victim, that is one heck of a woman...👏👏👏
