If Friday's episode was about Khushi's dreams about a perfect wedding, today was all about her dreams of a perfect husband. And the irony of her life is that she has the world's perfect husband and doesn't even know it! And the reason for this irony - her very own perfect husband! He keeps his love for her guarded under layers and layers of hatred, hurt and pain. His love is very much alive in the silence of his soul, throbbing in his heart, running in his blood but doesn't reach out through words which eventually would make Khushi realise that her dream is no longer a dream; it became her reality the very day he set his eyes on her.
Arnav never made peace with his feelings and once he did, destiny interfered with its bad sense of humour to make their life a joke! A constant struggle to understand their own and each others' emotions have sapped them of their spirit, wounded their hearts that now for their sake, I wish they unleash the horror of their pain to eventually see each other clearly.
'Who is he?' It was saddening to see a girl questioning and wondering about the reality of the person she has ever loved especially when she has loved him to a point of no return! Her beloved has been a perennial enigma, his heart a maze where she is lost and can neither find a way out nor a way to reside there permanently. Can you imagine the plight of such a girl?!!
Is he a beast or the prince? 'Ek pal mein itna Py_ _ _, aur doosre pal mein inse itna darr lagta hai'
FILL in the blanks darling. This fill up can give you a jackpot that no other lottery can! Fill up that blank, complete it with what you feel about this living dichotomy, Arnav! I know it's confusing but dear for once be sure of your love as much you are about your hatred towards him. Believe me once you admit it to yourself, your pure and gentle heart will find the way; trust me!!!!
If this constant tug of war between the heart and the mind was not enough, Khushi landed herself in more turmoil. Her wounds reopened; she hushed her own pain and put aside the broken pieces of her heart to paint a happy picture for her Amma. Moms I tell you, are blessed with a sixth sense that functions in a way that no other mortal can understand. LOVED how Garima picked up that something is not right between her daughter and SIL. Anjali could be mother figure for Arnav but even she has not been able to spot the brewing trouble in their relationship. She fixes them no doubt but she assumes these issues to be a regular husband-wife tiff. That is the difference between a mother and a mother figure.
Amma's apprehension, her concerns, her eyes searching for answers was so real. Come to think of it, after Khushi's wedding, this was the first time that mother-daughter actually talked about her life.
Garima- 'Khushi, are you happy?'
Khushi- 'I am not happy' *gauges mom's reaction and flips* 'I am VERY happy'!
That's typical Khushi who puts others' happiness over others. She starts her saga of unfulfilled dreams and weaves a beautiful story of her blissful wedded life with Arnav. If words could kill, then today each and every word from Khushi was a poisoned dagger stabbing Arnav's heart and his conscience. How he was MILES away from being Khushi's perfect husband. The shame, the guilt for having robbed her of her dignity, for becoming the very reason for the lies that Khushi spins out for her Amma was SO palpable.
'He takes care of me like no other, he never lets me do anything alone, if I ask him to get me stars, he might even do it, he can't bear my tears and see me in pain' .
Seemingly ironical but SO TRUE!! Yes Khushi, he has inflicted a lot of pain on you- mental and physical. He has manhandled you, made you sleep by the poolside in cold, threatened you to stop your dabba service, IS the cause of your tears and doesn't seem to care for you and when you had those FBs, I don't blame you for recollecting only the painful memories. I understand the mind lingers on the negative more than the positive. The only issue with Arnav is that he loves SUBTLY but hates and hurts GROSSLY. His love is like a genie trapped in a bottle and thrown in the depths of his being. Uncork it and you will see this genie will make sure that you truly live a fairy tale life of your dreams...forever! Just hang on darling, the darkest hour shall pass and the dawn will break soon. And when it does, I so wish that you will let your love for him rule over everything else! Amen!😊
'Kuch aur batayein ya aapko yakeen ho gaya ki hum khush hain??' See I can spin many more blissful tales. Awww Khushi🤗...baby your mother has a simple heart like you and totally buys your lies and that puts her heart at peace. And if all this was not enough to kill Arnav, Garima's apprehension on being answerable to Khushi's deceased mom was the last nail in the coffin!!
Bring out a dead mother angle and ASR khattam hai yaar; this one BLOW to his conscience and you have shaken and turned this man to shambles!!! Dear Arnav, as much as my heart pained for Khushi today, it did as much for you!😠How on Earth will you carry the burden of this guilt? It is unfathomable to me!😕
She might be a cheat to YOU but can't you see that there was NO pretence in her emotions all the while she was weaving those tales about you to her mother? Why can't you see that this girl just doesn't have the *kabiliyat* to be a scheming home-wrecker.It's not Khushi that you have to trust but your own mind and heart! Your heart knows that you love her, your heart knows her innocence, your mind says that she can be annoying but not a two-timer. You seem to only trust your eyes that saw that terrace hug, the ears that heard her say things about your sister's marriage; then I request you to see the innumerable times Khushi's eyes spoke to you about her love for you, her confusion, and her pain. If you want to believe your eyes, do that completely then! You say you are always right, I completely second you; your heart is right, your mind is right, your conscience is right ONLY if you believe them yourself! Everything now boils down to YOU Arnav, and when it's only you; your ego centric self should not have a problem thinking about it!
Precap- Khushi's words haunt Arnav's memories and why not? When someone's conscience is stirred, how can one sleep peacefully! I LOVED his fear of losing Khushi which jolted him out of his sleep. It was such a childlike Arnav holding Khushi to ensure that she stays with him. Just as kids sleep tucking in their precious belongings, Arnav did exactly that; holding his priceless Khushi to make sure he never lets her go!
Arnav dear, you have had 2 guilt trips; now gear up for the finale. It will be the ONLY game in which you'll have no idea whether to win or to lose!
