@Anna, loved what ever you wrote 👏 and agree especially about the past of keeping good gift wrapping paper for further use. Even we do it sometimes. In fact my dadi use to do it too, she will make sure when we unrap the gift we do it in such a way that it does not ruin the gift wrapper.
