I am not even going to say anything about ASR respecting his own wife first before telling another men to do that. He is not aware of all the facts about her
But what about Aakash?
How about ASR telling his brother to stand up for Payal when Mamiji calls her Khoon Bhari Taang and misbehaves with her... what happens to his "three rules" then

Exactly ! I was thinking the same. I find it so irritating when Mami calls Payal 'Khoon bhari tang' and Khushi 'Phati sari'. I wonder why Akash or Arnav don't say anything to Mami. I khow Arnav respects Mami because she sold her jewellery when Arnav needed money to start his business, but still, now he can ask her politely to stop calling Payal and Khushi with those names. It is really an insult to both of them as the daughter in laws of the house and whatever his relation to Khushi, she is his wife for the world.

Arnav always stood up for Payal directly or indirectly and. Wasn't he the only person that stopped payal from leaving when the whole family was ready to kick her out?

Arnav knows Akash and that he will be able to treat Payal with respect in this case the guy needed a lesson.

Btw Akash has stood up for payal few times infront of mami.

Akash does stand up for Payal most of the time and makes sure she's happy, but he cant always do that...remember its his mom...he needs to keep equilibrium between the both ladies which is why you dont see Akash getting furious with his mom...and with ASR he's under a MU for which he does whatever he does to his wife :(

Come on. That is such a lame excuse. So ASR can threaten an employee with his job and force him to stand up to his family but will not do the same to his brother. Maybe that guy was also trying to keep an equilibrium and not anger his relatives... See in my book you have to practice what you preach. And in this case ASR comes off as a bully not a do-gooder
