Why can't Arnav 'do' what khushi 'did'?

Why doesn't Arnav make khushi believe that he's having an affair with someone? Wouldn't it be a better way to take revenge for what she "did" and make her feel the same way anjali would feel if she found out? In this scenario, he would hurt himself and khushi... wouldn't that be a more intense track that was supposed to happen after the marriage than the slap-stick comedy going on right now?

Yeah I know some people don't like jealousy tracks but I personally feel it would be a better approach to an intense relationship than what's happening right now... and it's not actually jealousy it's more of hurting khushi emotionally which arnav was supposed to do a lot of after the marriage, according to Gul...

What do you guys think?

It will certainly be an interesting plot, but we have 2 things here..

.first, he thinks that she loves shyam, so even if Arnav is having an affair, what difference would it make to her, all she is waiting for is for the 6 months to complete, according to Arnav.

Second, the marriage is only for 6 months, so it will give Khushi yet another reason to break the marriage even before the 6 months ended, all she needs is to bring his affair in front of the family
