Rabba-ve 2.0 Soul Searching Begins (1000th post - 😃)

MERA WOH MATLAB NAHI THA - IS THE NEW - FARAQ PADTA HAI

(I DIDN'T MEAN TO - IS THE NEW - IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE)

So looks like i found my faith, the tug that pulled me deeper in love with IPK and its form.

I have said this before and I am quoting myself once again -

It's not entirely hate this time, there surely are feelings involved - they are no longer strangers and the emotional baggage they both carry, is evident through their actions.

They are aware about each others presence and it bothers them. Ooh the tension between them is back. Let's start soul searching you two. You have all in all 6 months.

You are now together and it hurts us but I don't know what will happen when you both actually part ways.

The gist about this post is that she is like the forbidden fruit, he has her but he can't have her.

She is the nectar but he has the high insulin levels.

It's a yin yang theory, everything in nature co-exists to maintain the balance.

Like dark and light, hot and cold, THE HALWAI AND THE DIABETIC.

We all have heard the "tu hi bata mere maula" uncountable times ' which proves what I am talking about is a bang on theory - "woh dhoop sa hai agar toh woh chandni raat si hai"

NOW GETTING BACK TO TODAY

You and I say they are poles apart and a total contrast when it comes to them as individuals - agreed.

BUT BUT BUT they have one thing in common which will help them realise that their bond is forever - and that is - they both act on impulse.

Yesterday she took him out as an impulsive action to bathe in public

(secretly Khushi wanted to flaunt to the neighbors that i am doing this man)😆

Intention - To show him that how people adapt to their surroundings happily, it's a natural way of life and they find pleasure in it.

Consequence - His humiliation. Which she didn't give a second thought to and when he asked her why are you humiliating me, she was taken aback and said "i didn't mean that"(1).

Yesterday he pulled her out and accused her of stealing the parts of his car

(abbey woh nanhi si jaan wieghing all in all 39.5kgs wont be able to do that + she was bathing you , you remember)😆

Intention - he thinks she did it to irk him as usual.

Consequence - Police found the thief and the body parts of the SUV (ahem)😆 that went missing.

(DEAR FANDOM - calm down he's going to get that SUV back, the PH don't have money left for another chopper or a private jet.)

This man is used to doing mental rabba-ves and there he goes again thinks back to when he called her a thief and does the "i didn't mean that" (2) in his head.

Today he went all out there tearing down the kirane ki dukaan (super mart) and got more than enough food for the entire laxmi nagar

Arnav's Intention - I have unknowingly become a burden on them and i think as my duty, i owe them this much.

Consequence - Hearts melt, and in the fit of the moment you are reminded of your mother, why not?? You did something with the intention of being a son of this house right?

Arnav's reaction - I won't call her mom or any one else that for a matter of fact. But Auntyji's hurt and "i didn't mean that"(3)

Khushi insisted that he calls her amma instead of Auntyji

Khushi's Intention - she felt that she can make him accept her relations just as she accepted his.

Consequence - Khushi unknowingly reminds him of his mother and ends up hurting him - oh "i didn't mean that" (4)

The bedroom fight

(all though there are other ways you both could calm your nerves and ours as well - but well you like a war of words, dont you)😆

Outrage from forcing him to call her amma his mom.

Intention - to put up a fight and show her exactly how angry he is

Consequence - Blurting out without thinking " i am stuck with you and your family in this cheap house"

Arnav's Reaction - BLOODY HELLL "i didn't mean that" (5).

MAKE UP SEX = OOGLE AT WIFE HAVING GOLGAPPAS

SO LESSON LEARNT humara matlab woh nahi tha = farak padta hai dammit

This for me is progression, baby steps to giant leaps - is our LALLAV back or is it the TRPs?

EDIT - there will be a day when these two actually end up doing "IT" and next morning go humara woh matlab nahi tha - 😆

Oh man Gitu, you gotta do a separate piece jsut for Bubbli today.

I know you love bubbli and all but that kid's behavior is jeepers!!

So when they are in the room together and some strange divine intervention happens and they finally do it, they would still wake up the next day and tell each other , I didn't mean it?? 😆

That my dear, is progression!

First of all...

CONGRATS GOLDIE!! 🥳 🥳

Okay..now that was a sweet, emotional and thought-provoking post. 👏 You have beautifully interpreted the actions of both Arnav and Khushi: they act on impulse, want to accomplish something but instead end up unknowingly hurting the other...

Yes, both are impulsive and driven by their mutual feelings for each other - both are on each other's minds all the time.

Both somehow reach out to each other and manage to make each other smile: case in point yesterday Khushi was touched when Arnie got food for everyone and today Arnie was fascinated watching her eating gol gappas...

Lovely post Gitu...truly Mentally Exotic...keep them coming!

Gitu,

I was expecting a tongue in cheek humor and sarcasm and poetry. But you surprised me with this well thought and extremely intelligent analysis of todays episode. You nailed it on every account.

The bedroom fight was what has pulled me back from disappearing. Flawless emotions and voice modulations. Which were missing. And the intensity was felt from across the screens. The ending Rabba Vey a puppy dog look laden Arnav oggling at a bewitching child woman Kushi who glows brighter than sunshine with lifes tiny intangibles such as happiness from eating a pani puri. Brilliantly portrayed episode. It would have been a 9 or a 10 for me, if not for the fact of the kid.

Loved your take.

The scenario: chotey spills the beans

Intention: to show off his spectular self control

consequence: no make up sex at RM= no GG eating at RM. he realises his folly and says " i didnt mean that"

many moons down the lane:

the scenario: Mini ASR/Khushi

Intention: prove chotey has gotten bada. all purza's are working

consquence: mini asr/khushi on the way, permenantly putting his purzas in the junkyard. In the hospital, arnav thinks to himself " i didnt mean that" n

If none of this makes sense, its cuz i am in a rush to make pakoras.!😳😆

All I can say is..when will Rabba Ve become Do me Now Re?

Congrats on turning from a nice blue color to this ugly turdy color that I hate and can't wait to get rid of...but alas the next step is many miles away.

Bubbly! Man...I can't even fwd through her bits because I have to in good faith watch the whole damn thing for M&M.

Oh..and let me copy paste what I wrote elsewhere. Just like that. Because I like plagiarizing myself.

That moment when that puri, chock-full of sinful goodness bursts in my mouth. Bliss. A gush of sour-sweet liquid rushes down my throat. Tiny slivers of sev stick to my lips as I gulp them down one after another. That's the beauty of gol gappas...you can eat as many you want, if you can handle the explosion of flavors.

And in the aftermath...all those tastes mingling on our lips. Sigh.

Congrats "Sona" ! 🥳 ... today's epi was for lack of better words ... complete! It had all the perfect pick n mix combo ... strong scripting, dialogues and faultless execution ... I have to Mark this day down ... have zilch to whine about ... I really really liked it.

Am reserving effusive praise on the caveat the PH delivers back to back epis of the same calibre.
