I think ASR is 28! That is what the Star Plus website says! Khushi being 19 is plain silly!

SHE should be at least 21 and ASR being 28 is fine! I guess he could have gone to Uni in India, and then gone to Harvard for a 2 year "Intense course" in MBA! MY Uni in NZ, used to do a 1 year intensive MBA programme.
My B-I-L has an MBA and he got it in 3 years studying part time! I want to do one too! So I guess a full time student can finish their MBA in 1 year if they go for an intense course!

Yes pretty likely, can't imagine so much thought was put into it in the serial though. Haha, you and I should make a serial. I would love to see Avenging Angel happen.

This is not to criticize the CVs, blame it on my over-thinking mind. I found myself counting once he said he went to Harvard.

ASR gets dethroned at 15, goes and lives with Raizadas'.

Typically people got to college at 17-18 in the US but international students are usually 19-20 on average because of the O-level A-level differences.

4 years of college/university brings you to 22 - say ASR is not older than the typical American grad. Usually international MBA people are 23-24 if they go right through.

Then MBA at Harvard brings 22 year old to 25.

ASR is 26. So it took him 1 year to develop his chain of industries? Or was he like 3 years advanced? That still gives him 4 years to make an industry. A family member of mine started his business at 25 (ASR's age) and it took him 25 years to make a chain and he was famed as a ruthless businessman. Of course, they noted ASR is fast but it is not like he inherited any of it. 1 year is still too short a time period to tell Mamiji's jewelry and build a number of fashion industries.

Now people will get upset with me for finding a blooper. I visited Harvard (graduated from one of its rivals), the guys there are ASR's age in their first year, unless you count the one exception who is a savant. Pretty sure ASR's not a savant. One thing however was good, the arrogance at saying Harvard. That's pretty standard, though I love my Harvard friends. The foreign education explains how he came to be more liberal than say Akash (and family) who apparently never went to co-ed.

My only complaint, why couldn't they make ASR 30? I love age difference love stories!
That would make this believable because believe it or not they planned ASR to be from Harvard from the beginning. At La's drunk episode he was wearing a big "H" t-shirt. Granted he also wore an UCLA one but it is common for students here to have brands from other schools, especially if you traveled for conferences, etc.

OK, one more thing I noticed. ASR is amused by the Salman Khan palki pic and smirks that Khushi wants to be the bride. Then he sits down on the bed and replaces Salman next to the palki - thereby making himself a groom. It was a very intelligent symbolism. Congrats to the CVs on that.

One more thing. If Arnav unintentionally brought and AC to indulge my family with a dose of arrogance, I would kick him out. Guess that makes me not a good SP bahu, like I care 😆

Last point, promise. A lot of girls are happy he's a Harvard grad. His eligibility just went up. How about a girl like that? How many guys will be excited by the thought? See? Not as many get excited. True story.

as usual a ery good write up. the havard thing had me grinning. that was so on the face staring as a silly thought of CVs. your analysis just made it more clear. i cud care less if my guy went to havard or haridvar if he is my tupe and loves me. so eligibility can take a walk

On the other hand Akash would have to be in school and running a fashion industry might have led him to loose the shyness around women which he didn't. Anjali might have run the business as she is unaccounted for.
But one thing I am sure of...the CVs did not think about this as long as you and I have 😆

Sure. Mamiji's only contribution was the seed money at the beginning of the venture. The only, presumably, experienced person of the trio was Mamaji; though I think he was chump change compared to his nephew who must have applied his smarts to make a fledgling business a multimillion rupees enterprise.

In one of the episodes, pre-marriage, Mamaji was shown returning from some long trip abroad where he went to purchase/make contracts for fabric.
So, I am sure he was always involved in the Company, running it more as a figure-head on those occasions Arnav was out of the country; though I am sure via telephone/internet, etc. Arnav kept a very tight control on what was, after all, his baby.

P.S. CVs - and thinking lately?! Boggles the mind!

Seriously if he is a Harvard grad than he lived in USA and the first thing you learn in US of A is equality...cause we saw the case with the king of romance Mr. Shahrukh Khan how he was detained...and most girls are happy but seriously not in real life so chill little bit

Meh the US as the highest disparity in income. The status are embedded in socio-economic differences and racial differences. It is better hidden but the US is just as classist in many ways.

The Harvard thing confused me too because I've been there once for collage tours around America! The guys in first year looked around 22-24 but then again, Indian shows are full of bloopers as I hear do I don't exactly mind!

Yes, that dooli thing was very prominent!
