I agree with everyone's comment here...my only question would be..
has khushi not learnt her lesson as of yet..I thought her silly antics led ASR to have a hypo...guess the poor guy didn't even get a chance to eat properly at his sasuraal's...So C'mon CV's more consistency in the storyline..less comedy n more intensity, drama n passion..Surely the TRP's will shoot sky high...

Fari I think the lack of promo is because the CVs have not decided on a specific track yet. They surely know about the TRP drop hence experimenting with diff tracks.
We would get a promo for sure by the middle of next week since the ME is confirmed on 28th.
I did not understand the purpose of Shyamu loosing the soap if he found it today intact. It makes no sense at all.
Khushi is back to her OTT antics. I somehow did not like it much. She brought Arnav here to teach a lesson I get that. But again toying with his food? I did not get it.Anyway I hope the END result of this trip is something good and keeping my fingers crossed for that

Toying with his food at the cost of his health again...it doesn't make sense, and its not consistent with the ever vigilant wife who ensures that he doesn't eat sweet, so as to not fall ill...

I feel like these scenes are not well thought out...they use food at their whim, they use his health at their whim...there is no consistency.

I really feel the true Khushi character may toy with a bunch of thing, but she would never play with his health. Why the intensity in her quest to watch his diet dying at the hands of the CVs?

Fari...I didn't enjoy the episode today because they stole from the intensity factor, and over loaded it with the OTT comedy factor.

2 Examples from today, where the same scene could have been executed differently to BRING int he INTENSITY instead of the comedy.


Example 1 of Missed Intensity:

The Gupta Ladies, like typical middle class families went above and beyond to make their Amir Damaad feel comfortable, trying to cater to his eating habits, and providing an environment of comfort. This would have been much better received had it not been served up in roll of comic revenge. I would have liked Arnav to recognize the love and efforts of these women, and realize the purity of the adulation they feel for their son-in-law...it would have been a humbling experience for ASR. It may have forced himself to ponder on why he think Khushi is a gold digger...how is that possible...if this is the family she comes from, and these are the values that have been instilled in her?


Instead all I saw was:

Granted that the Gupta ladies are not sophisticated and stuff..but look at all that love they were showering on Arnav, and all she did was ridicule that love today. What did Khushi gain by making her family look more stupid and low class in front of ASR?? Apne hi paair pe khuladhi maari na!!😡

This is not Khushi!! Before when she wanted to get back at him...she did it on her own...not at the cost of making anyone else look bad.

Example 2 of Missed Intensity:

The Arnav Babuji scene...totally underplayed and depicted with such loose direction...that it made me gag!! In trying to show Arnav anger at being played by his wife...he lost his essential qualities to?? He forgot his upbringing?? Why...because showing that would have decreased the comedy element?

All i saw was a dud scene, where Arnav goes thru the motions of acknowledging her father's existence...nothing more...showing no respect at all.

What I would have liked to see:

I would have like Arnav to stay true to his upbringing, and honor that silent mutual respect and the connection that these 2 men have, by bending and taking his ashirwaad upon seeing him. This would have been an intense scene...where they both know and accept that the connection between them is the women they both love and related to...a daughter, and a wife...Khushi. That would have been intense.

Now for those of you who will argue that ASR does not bow down to anyone...let me remind you of Diwaali night...after he rejected Khushi...and hurt her, denied himself the luxury of her love...when he dropped her home and she left her wallet in his car. He came back to return that wallet, he was invited into the house...and upon entering, he took Shahi Babuji's ashirwaad...because that has been ingrained into him...a trait instilled into him by his Mother...one that he would not walk away from...that is the true Arnav.

For those of you that argue that Arnav is not an inherently religious being...i beg to differ there too. He may publicly not practice it, but he is familiar with all religious rites and obligations, and when push does come to shove...he honors them, because, again this is another trait instilled in him by his mother.

Its his fight with himself that brings in the intensity factor. Its her going out of her way to make his life easier, more comfortable..like bringing the plant that makes this relationship and this current struggle in their marriage intense.

Its his inability to explain how she can be so sweet, humble, caring, giving and innocent that makes the scenes INTENSE...

By intensity...we are not simply asking for LOVEY DOVEY scenes...we want intense hatred too...we want intense fights too...and of course we want some pure magical RABBA VE moments that happen as a result of denying these feelings...

Not the forces Rabba ve we got today with the Holding hand during Rangoli dance!!

CV's and SP have messed a with a good series by adding unwanted episodes and fillers for months during Star Pariwar Awards and now IPL...if they keep doing what they are doing off course IPKKND will be history...now it seems they tried to come out of the crappy episodes and change track...this show TRP cannot go on its own without content, they have been doing everything in RM for months now...after new year everything was done in RM..all marriage ceremonies, then honeymooon so ppl are frustrated to watch the same 2 rooms again and again in different angle...this is good change to Gupta House. Old Khushi's value system must stand against Arnav's attitude thats when something will change, not her silly behavior with him to get information..heights of frustration!!!!!

Nags I completely agree and that's why I deliberately skipped Khushi in my post and I said the epi was good in parts as some may misunderstand it as Khushi bashing but the CVs are not still getting the characterization of KHushi right. More than anything else this needs to be fixed asap.

YOu've nailed it again. I had so much hopes for Babuji-Arnav scenes,,,,,I said in your last post but the CVs completely failed to capture it.

Yes they failed in Arnav's characterization as well. It was not true to his character.

Now is pyaar ko kya naam doon is the only serial who has No single promo ever since IPL started .

Now the stories in all these shows are actually not moving respectivetly to their tracks . BUT they r marketting their shows well

On the other hand we have no promotion nthg yest THANKS TO ALLAH we r at no 5th position and 6th in some other places(MINUS CID AND CP) .Its just god's blessings that the show is in top 5 and top 10 irrespective of the fact we have no rpomotion nthg during IPL.

if they start giving one promo atleast we'll come back to an average trp of 3.8 like before Inhsa-Allah. 👍🏼

About the track i dont knw but i feel till ME they might drag it further but they have many things to be shown ..

arnav's coming to sasural might be a way to develope a good bonding between arnav and guptas !

It is very clear TRP audience do not like Khushis silly antics . There is a whole comedy channel SAB and various comedy reality shows to watch such comedy .

Everytime a Khushi antic is shown , one more nail goes into the coffin of IPKNND.

Why u directly blaming khushi's OTT for fall in TRPs..😕 Any TRP falls = Khushi's behaviour
