You have a valid point risha. I have observed that "high class" people are interested in insulting their fellow "class-mates". On the other hand "middle class" people shower love on each other & also help each other in difficult times. This is what makes arnav & khushi different. Khushi being a "low class" mingles with everybody irrespective of their class while arnav talks to people who belong to his class only except the guptas. So yes you are cent percent correct.
