'The Tale of Crossing Invisible Lines'

I actually had a "Crooner worthy" response prepared in my mind after the reading the Crooner today, but I deferred to ASR's medical condition as I myself am under the weather. Your words are a prime example of why I love this space! Telling us like it is, even when the truth can be a bitter pill to swallow (for all in this game!) Well Constructed. Critisized. Thrown Out. Then Re-Constructed yet again for a new day! You ROCK, girl!👏 And a big hug from moi for keeping ALWAYS keeping it REAL!🤗

Invisible Line #1: Indeed...that very scene where ASR in "Swami" avatar is revealed to his sister. The emotions here were very real. Very palpable. She gets the message. She waits for him, even though she had been told otherwise. Fridge, food, her eating it aside, she realizes he is hungry, he has not eaten, he needs food. Unlike the afternoon, he does not refuse her and put her in her place! Not because he didn't have a choice (no one would deliver, but hello, 24X7 coffee shops anyone?), but because of her offer to cook!

Invisible Line #2: He changes out of his work clothes. He calls out to her... "Khushi", she says "Aiieee"...There is a level of comfort there we've never seen before! Absolutely loved it! They are finally getting into what it is to be married! Somewhere, the line into it has been crossed! He has he hypoglycemic attack; I couldn't get over his hand here as it falls out to the side. For the second time, Khushi realizes she may have done him wrong! Everybody assembles. He calls out to di...di gets a cue from Khushi about the medicines...Di gives him the medicines...I really loved how this was shown. The triangle at work beautifully...The shifting of the apex has started!!! Cut to the bedroom: Di feeds him the food prepared by Khushi... In a sense, she breathes life back to him! Whether he cares to admit it or not!

Invisible Line #4: He actually agrees to sleep on the bed after she insists on it! Allows her to tuck him in! She paces back 'n forth--loved the 'Rabba Ve' in the background here...reminiscent of the Rabba Ve we saw in Nainital when she was sick, and he, the caregiver. Also brought me back to the laryngitis episode...But today, her care was visible in ways we've never before! She pulls the recliner close to him...Keeps vigil. The tableau of husband & wife sleeping side to side was just beautiful! His waking up for water...He resists her offer again...She insists...And then the moment that captures that which will never be invisible to them...She holds him up...her eyes show relief, pain, concern, and sadness. But then her heart gives way to her mind...Her hand drops from his shoulder.

Invisible Line #5: He wakes with his defenses up! Her concern for him visible! Yet, he doesn't buy it! And then the fall--OUCH!😒 It will be interesting to watch tomorrow; I do think he will reveal certain truths to his sister...The hairline crack will start to see a widening!!

Definitely progression in their relationship! Trust also starting to creep itself in! I kept remembering the poem you referenced from ZNMD yesterday! How he insisted on being on his own, yet, in the end, he crossed his own lines to let her take of him! Anjali was brilliant today! While her expressions in the first scene showed her apprehension, she did not allow that to mask what she expected of Khushi. Moreover, all her actions were subtle. She gives him medicine, she gives him the food, Khushi is still a bit in the background. I also thought it was interesting that as she left ArHi's room, she reassured Khushi that he was fine. But the implication to me was that he was ok this time, but lets not go down this path again! I also liked ASR's scene with Ms. B. He was caring enough to tell her to sleep because she maybe tired---lol, he's starting to be influenced by the kids in his life!

It was an ArHi packed episode, marked with a shift in emotions to another level, now I wait for tomorrow! Love your song choice for today! Its perfect for the special Rabba Ve we witnessed!

Great crooner as always, this episode was a lot better than yesterdays for me, I only hope Khushi's actions are a little more thought out next time if she wants to avoid consequences like today's, I still don't know why she had to act like this to get the reaction she was hoping for. Loved the care she showed towards Arnav I look forward to seeing what happens tomorrow.

Wondering how when everyone was settled in for the night, they managed to come rushing in to the dining room all at once, I didn't think that Khushi screamed and the Raizada mansion is very big😕

Like already mentioned, very unrealistic the amount of food Khushi consumed, why not show us less food on the table? Show us somwthing realistic as to why there isn't any food at home unless Khushi cooks.

Maybe it's to early to judge, but I am not feeling bubbly at all, she is suppose to be 9 years old, she looks and talks like a person who is a lot younger. I am not to keen of her getting involved in adult issues, this is a intense track even though we are not seeing much of that at the moment, do we really need a kid involved . Will wait and see how CV's use her before judging her further.

Few points I'd like to make, general knowledge because I have taken care of a diabetic person for the last 7 years.

When a person has a Hypo (hypoglycaemia or low blood glucose) happen when your blood glucose level drops too low. Warning symptoms are your back-up. Everyone has different symptoms, but some of the common ones are: feeling shaky, sweating, hunger, tiredness, blurred vision,hard to concentrate, headaches and becoming stroppy or stubborn. Now I assume Arnav has suffered from diabetes a very long time, why did he starve himself and risk his life, just why?

I know it's meant to be, the episode required it so I'll try not to think much on this😆

Why was all the family members hovering around him, they all stood there like they were cluless what to do, it was amazing the luck of awareness of his condition, Anjali of all people should immediately take action, you only give them medicine if the blood glucose is high to lower it, I really don't know what medicine Arnav was talking about, Any sort of drink's high in suger to bring the blood glucose level up would have been fine, It takes at least half an hour until someone is feeling better, how come within seconds Arnav was feeling better and managed to move and go to his bedroom.,

However saying all of the above I think Barun did a very good job acting out this scene simply because he convinced me with his acing that he was have a hypo,a sweaty forehead and arms would have been good😊 It's a shame the rest of the cast were not given the right material or direction to portray the rest within that scene.

Jokes apart Priya u were right abt the crack in Anjali n Khushi' relationship...does this mean haddi who is playing Cupid for now will actually become the big haddi/ divide between Arhi ... But I kinda though when ASR has to pick between the two women, Anjali would tell him to pick khushi...u know what I mean right?!

Oh n commenting from my phone, so its kinda hard to reply to individual comments but I am actually loving the discussion n momb24 I think made a great point abt diabetic people, my FIL is diabetic n we are very particular with his diet n the timings we eat at...
U know my mom had a relative when he would be low on sugar n not in his senses he would beat his wife...but when he was in his senses so to speak he was the most caring husband in the world plus at that time diabetes was not something that there was great awareness abt, the only thing that lady knew is when her husband is well angry or not in his sense, she needs to feed him sugar. His wife saved his life once by shoving a fist full of sugar on his mouth becoz the docs at that time had no clue what was wrong with him...

so back to momb's point n urs, the episode wasn't realistic enough but did bring the awareness that something sweet is what's needed...

Alright, so let's do this. Hmm so today's theme is bashing? Yes, well lots to bash about isn't there? Truth be told, everytime I feel high about an episode, it is like being brought down to earth coming to the forum and reading posts. I have taken to keeping away from the forum on days when Khushi or Arnav do something (in character mostly) and screw up somehow, because I know there will be a list of Arnav bashers, a list of Khushi bashers, a list of Barun should have done this, Sanaya should have done that, their friendship is reducing offscreen, they are taking us for a ride, the awards should not have been given: the list just goes on and on.

For a person who spends about 10 out of 18 waking hours logged onto this very same forum, it will be very hypocritical, but I will say this. It's a fiction show, guys. Chill. If you don't like a particular episode, ok, that's your opinion. Provide your opinion. Don't bash. Seriously. And trust me, there are enough of us (I've been guilty of it sometimes as well so I am not trying to preach here) who don't know the difference most of the time.

Priya, I want to publicly say a big thank you to you for today's post. It was very meaningful (and it was so meaningful that some did not even get its meaning! 😆). All the frustration that was in me over the "angry birds" syndrome that has struck the forum has been taken out by you and expressed so well, and I am very thankful to you for that. 👏

Ok rant over, coming to the episode. Yesterday I mentioned that the reason they would want to show a Khushi who is the way she is, is simply because one, she IS like that (OTT about everything) and two, for her to realize what she's doing and to learn that her unthinking actions have consequences. That is what today's episode was about. Over the last two weeks we have seen quite a bit of development of the relationship between Arnav and Khushi, of what they are and they are becoming to each other, and mostly of how they are learning to adjust to each other. Bit by bit, they are learning to become husband and wife (though we are waiting for them to become that in the truest sense of the word. Ok, I need to get over this gutter mind phenomenon asap! 😳).

I thought today's episode was an excellent way for Khushi to really realize what she is doing, and that it is not always a game like she believes it is. She usually gets away with her childish thoughts and acts, so this would act like a bit of a wakeup call for her. I doubt she will ever play around with Arnav with regard to food any more. Her guilt and her caring for him, and the fact that she was so freaked out that she stayed up all night just go to show how unused she is to something like this. She just had absolutely no clue how to deal with the situation. I thought it was an excellent way to show also how her overly darling act with Arnav was backfiring here because he seemed quite unappreciative of her attempts to help him. The cough scene was good though (well not when he coughing, because I could literally feel my heart jumping, he was so natural, but the caring for him afterwards). Barun was so excellent in that scene, that even the people who believe he cannot act and can only stare (I read that in a comment today 😡) would exclaim, "man, can that guy cough realistically". His fall was also pretty darn realistic and I went OH when I saw it. Poor guy.

Now coming to the main point: Anjali. Today her expressions in the beginning were of bewilderment about what Khushi was doing. And to her credit, Khushi did not seem very comfortable with Anjali knowing what she had been upto. Khushi is waking up to reality in a lot of ways. She is learning as she goes along. I don't really think Anjali was jealous like people were suggesting. Just a little taken aback.

I am also wondering what Arnav's reaction was in the precap. He said that he knew that Khushi had stayed up to take care of him, but when Anjali started talking about how she found out etc., his expression changed. I am wondering if this could go two ways: one, where Arnav realises that Khushi took care of him really and not as an OTT gesture to show people; or two, where he thinks the exact opposite and believes that she did it as a gesture to show off to people, like he's believed about her in the past. Both are fairly real possibilities.

I am also wondering if Anjali is going to have more of a role to play in all of this, to either bring them closer or cause more misunderstandings. With the conspiracy theories floating about her, it also makes me wonder very often what EXACTLY she really is upto.

All in all, safe to say, I am intrigued to see today's episode. More so because we have no spoilers or SBB / SBS yet on what is likely to happen and my curiosity is now piqued. Till then I am off to enjoy my holiday playing (what else!) Angry Birds! 😆

[like some of u might know...bashing umm i mean criticism is not my thing... hubby would disagree in a heart beat 😆😆😆)

But then I thought...what will crooner buddies think? No I must not disappoint them! I will think of some good solid criticisms...

So I started thinking hmmm... *five minutes*...*twenty minutes*...oh yeah! nah that's not good enough...*1 hour*...*in the car*...*while eating*...*while studying*...hmmm

Oh yeah...how about I individually criticize the characters...maybe it will be easier...

Ok let's start with Khushi...hmmm...no why should Khushi be the first one to be criticized...No!... let's start with Arnav...

Arnav *dreamy smile* hmmm 😍... IDIOT! You are supposed to criticize not daydream!!!

*Seven hours later*'..Forget this!!!

Alright...forget the characters...they are all flawed....let's focus on Barun... Barun hmmm... uhoh!!

Then it struck me...just because I can't come up with any good criticism... y not go to the closest basher I know and he might help...and this is what he had to say:

Sadie,for me you passed with flying colors. For us crooner buddies as much as we want to criticize we won't do a good job. We love the show and ARHI too much. Well, Priya tried was quite sucessful , more sarcasm than bashing. Sadie kya tu bhi atleast once pati ko wake up chai pilao you will be surprised with a table full of food 😊
