Worried !!

Before i start let me get some things straight...I love ARHI...(both)...i love this show..no plans to quit...and i dont bash...ever...and no i will not shut up or go watch another show...coz i absolutely totally devotedly obsessively love this show...and thats why...I m worried...

The TRPs...did not bother me last time..i stood up to defend...today..we are at # 7...or # 9 (the battle rages...its uncertain..)...the lowest ever in months...and at a risk of being thrown out from the top 10...unbearable...no IPL cannot be cited as the cause...other shows are doing fine and are sustaining if not climbing..(just for this reason i checked out a couple of other shows and was surprised at the twists and turns they had in store to grip their audiences during this stormy time)...i myself pointed out that we cannot compare this show with others...and i still agree...but at the same time i want it to be recognized and popularly loved for its uniqueness...our show deserves the best TRPs..the best critical acclaim and viewership...

If the cvs are waiting for IPL to get over..to pick up speed...it might be a wrong move..coz the rest of the shows are actually relying on big twists to pull them through the IPL storm...and if the cvs of this show are going to wait till the end of the season...now i think it might be a tad late...coz we need some damage control...pronto...some change of pace or a steady gripping script or some change of story or treatment is urgently required to steer clear of the drop...maybe they need to bring Lalit back (and please i m not taking anything away from Arshad...he was always part of the team...and we all love and respect him...but maybe Arshad's forte is comedy...while Lalit's was intensity...i know he is busy with the other show..but this show is the bigger one...and the more important one...so this should come first...just a thought..dont kill me for this please)...or if thats not possible maybe Nissar can step in...(for those who dont know..this man is a love story wizard...he is one of the best directors i have ever seen on small screen and the only reason i started watching television..i wish ...wish desperately that we can see his direction in this show...it would be ...awesomelicious...)...or maybe get the original creative team and writer back...just groping in the dark...coz i want to get back on the top..

The actors...SARUN...are working hard like crazy..they are giving their 1000% in every damn scene...then why?? I am worried that all their hard work..and the team's hard work is going to waste...

I loved yesterday...and generally m easy to please...but today just worried...feel like the sands are slipping beneath our toes...water slipping through our fingers...the TRP indications lead us towards some immediate changes...so ...

Let me ask this to you..in desperation coz i for the life of me cannot figure out where we are going wrong...according to you guyz...what needs to be done...what were they doing that was right...and now is missing...what needs to come back...what needs to be added...??

Please dont take this as a bashing or dissatsified post..yes i love this show...but all of us being ostriches and burying our heads in the sand or not seeing what is around us or blind devotion is not going to increase the viewership...it seems we are slipping..and slipping fast...how do we break the fall??

They need to show progress in the Arhi story...I have no clue why they are completely diluting the main story!

I feel they are floundering in the story because they themselves don't have any clue as to how they should proceed with it!

I hope that girl has been brought for Payash...and not for Arhi.

Arshad gave us ASR meltdown, Holi and the parking lot hug.

It's the script. It's all over the place and so are the characters.

I just checked the TRP's and we are at 9 and that with some spots above us being taken by two shows. We are slipping and if episodes like today are what are in store in the near future, then we will continue to go downhill.

We should be worried, I am as well.

I do not know what needs to change, but I do know that bringing in a 9 year old is not the right change to make. Perhaps the CV's are appealing to a younger audience??? Bad idea I say!

You have made some good points Eveline and I feel the same. What is wrong??? I think perhaps it is because we keep jumping for one short track to another, nothing is making sense. I mean we have Khushi wanting to give the silent treatment and avoid Arnav and now she is in his space all the time and she does not stop talking!!!! Where is the continuity????

It has gotten to the point that we do not know what is going to happen next and the real issues we want resolved in this show is being ignored.
