- Okay, the 'Bubbly introduction setting' was too over the head! Akash getting excited over a 9 year old kid? Mami saying that Bubbly only 'does' things and doesn't 'plan'. I mean, Mami, come on, what decision making should a nine year old do? Yeesh!
- A question about the flashback: Didn't Anjali have polio from childhood or did she have an affected leg later on in life? Just curious if I missed some past episode, that's all...
- I don't know... but I didn't expect that today Arnav's past would be shown as him being cruel and not affectionate as a kid too. I mean, I did expect that but...it kind of came too suddenly. I wanted his past to come slowly, not like what it came today. But I understand what they showed. Arnav was heartless because of some reason by birth onwards, maybe he had a very abusive father or something. But when his parents die, he poured out all that locked away love onto his sister and is ready to die for her, even today. Its true what they say: circumstances change people.
- Loved Kushi's dialogues about love in Heaven and Hell. For her love is a heavenly concept. But for Arnav it had been and still is a hellish idea. Hatred, he can permit, but love...he'd flee as soon as it made its way towards him. Kushi was superb in realizing that she had been using the wrong strategy all along. She had to love him to death and then he would get suffocated and try to resurface from drowning in her over-expressed love. Would her plans succeed? It looks like its showing some signs of CHANGE, at least...Kushi is out to make him understand that what he thinks is Hell, is actually Heaven.
- Arnav is totally getting irked by her Gopi stunts. But I was wondering, if he didn't like it, why couldn't he stop it? He could easily stop her but he was not being too forceful at all? Was he liking her in that role, getting all mushy and attention pouring on him? Did he want to see how far she'd drag the drama? Or better yet: was he letting her be because he regretted her last night's dialogue that she was not going to be around him? So was he trying to bear her presence and dialogues?
- Something that they had shown on a day I was not on the Forum and that which they had shown today: Arnav waking up to the day by the sound of the wind chimes on his door. Why did silence-lover decide to let little noises stay in his strict disciplined room? He is changing his beliefs, likes and dislikes to match with Kushi's...
- It was a funny episode. Him and his suspicions. His expressions were rocking, so was Kushi's. The way he fumed at HP (was that his name?) and the way he reacted to Akash on the phone, him inspecting the spray, his disgust for Swami (who the hell is Swami? What about me, Kushi? You forgot your Arnavji?). And Kushi, cutting onions to cry, going all coy and ploy over him...
- Loved the way he said Lard Governor was better than this new Swami title. He loves her calling him that! He loves his fiery Kushi getting irritated with him, because it is then that he falls more in love with her...
- Wait a minute! Wasn't Lavanya all mushy-woshy and lovey-dovey over him? What made him bear her then? Her sophistication?
- He has tried to move her hair off from her face as he watched her lie still on the bed with closed eyes. Actually he's done that twice, right? (on New Year's eve and on Holi). And here Kushi gets her first chance to drool at the sleeping hubby and instinctively let her hands move the hair falling over his forehead.
- Loved Arnav getting concerned over her hitting the door even when he's pissed off with all the kiddish antics she is playing on him. Looks like, her over-attention on him is getting him attending to her as well.
- Is it because his favorite colour was red or because he was red-angry with all that Kushi was making him do that he came down in that bright red shirt?
- What did that Balloon bursting in the flashback signify? That Arnav had been a boy who broke his sister's approaches? Isn't that what he's doing to Kushi now? Bursting her hope bubbles one by one and destroying her once-had trust in him? But Arnav reconciled with Anjali when he lost everything and was left with just Anjali...so will he embrace Kushi into his life when he once again stands alone in the dark: unloved, unwanted, hurt and lost?
- Once Arnav's black and white life (wardrobe) had been monopolized by the colors of Kushi's love (her dresses). Now, when they are in a passive state of their matrimony, she is letting her 'love in denial' to change his concept of life (new clothes). To let love not make him run away. But to teach him slowly, as a mother would teach her child, that love is tender but powerfully pure too and there is nothing to fear if you are asked to touch it. "Try and see, Arnavji, hold Love in your hand and see how gentle and divine it is. Why do you fear something so pure? Why do you fear...loving me?"
It was a real watch-worthy episode. I am sorry but I could not find any symbols for interpretations. Maybe someone better than me, crooner queen, Geet or tanthya will do that for me. But I loved the epi...and I will watch it again, no doubt!
I was doubtful if I should make a post or not coz I had no interpretations but still thought I'd go about my life after posting one, just for my ardent visitors and friends. So, here's my analysis of today in short:
LOVE, WELCOME TO HELL
Which was the best scene of the epi for me? Definitely the night scene where he looks at her as she sleeps, her face being the last imprinting on his mind. He can now see her in his dreams. He always did. There were many instances when he woke up saying her name. And how many times he must have woken with her name on his lips which we were not shown to us, of course. Two days of not seeing her face, he silently and wordlessly dealt its absence today. And when he dozes off, her face being the last thing he saw, she opens her eyes and looks at him longingly. I wondered: did she know he was looking at her? She often does have a sixth sense that tells her if he's around and if he's staring at her (recent example: at the fancy dress competition).
LITTLE DIGGING DEEPERS:
Arnav keeps telling her repeatedly to take the gunghat off. Why? He can't bear to see only half of her beauty?
MY TOP CONTRAST
At the start of the show, we had Kushi signing a contract with Arnav that she will have to work for him but that the work will be so heavily wrecking that she herself will call off the contract before its expiry. And how did he invite her to this deal, "Welcome to Hell." Today, we saw Kushi taking over the reins. She has entered into a contact marriage where she has to do his bidding. But she has begun to plan a counter-contract that she will make him bow to her extreme doses of affections at the end of which she hopes he will himself call off the marriage before its expiry. And how dose she renounce the initiation, "Welcome to the Hell of Love." Lovely contrast really...but while the first one ended before expiry, how will this one end? We'll have to wait and see...
