A question about love

Is the price of love supposed to be so exorbitantly high? Does it have to be earned with so much difficulty? And, does it even end up being worth it? The very well earned and deserved love of Arnav that Khushi will eventually receive, would it justify this hardship? Yes, we all know that she will eventually get her happiness from this love but it would have been at what cost? Do you have to give so much to obtain love in your life? Of course, this is a fictional story and the endurance is exaggerated to no extent, but I do have this question for all the ladies here in the forum who have been successful in obtaining and retaining love in their lives. Did you have to pay such a high price for it? Did you really have to earn it and basically make yourself worth it, to receive it?
