As women we applaud recent education and social messages that have been sent out to women who are subject to physical and sexual abuse. The main message is to NEVER KEEP SILENT.

It has been emphasised again and again importance of shouting, screaming and going and confiding in someone.

When a victim keeps silent, the ABUSER takes it as a sign of weakness, and gets more aggressive.

By Keeping Quiet, the Abuse Increases. It never stops and definitely does not just go away.

All young children are told to speak to a trusted relative or friend about the abuse.

It is very difficult when abuse comes from a close relative or family friend. Because in such cases the news of the abuse could hurt a close relative or even break the close relatives' marriage. Fear of this causes the victim to keep quiet.

IN IPKKND, we are finding the situation as discussed above.

ABUSE SHOULD NEVER BE HIDDEN AND HUSHED UP.

ABUSE particularly SEXUAL ABUSE SHOULD ALWAYS BE EXPOSED> That is the only way to control it and stop it from worsening the situation.

CVs we love IPKKND, but as women we will not have wrong messages being sent to young girls and young teenagers.
