Yep, 30 Days was and it was so disheartening that somebody would do that! But thankfully I contacted the mod of the site and they took it down pretty fast :D

Agree with you Harsh.

If ever should I find that my work is being copied without any credit and she claims that to be her own, I know how I will feel. Annoyed and angry of course!

I don't know why people are so hell bent on doing this even though we have so many rules in the FF forum. Whenever we take part in a forum it's our duty to read and follow the rules.

And also, why do we need to copy in the first place? if you can't write or don't feel like writing, please don't copy others work. We don't force anyone to write!

I guess this topic was started many more times. Many have been closed, some have been given warning. The ones who do should take this on a serious note. And the ones who know about this but is still not bothered to let the other readers know that the FF / SS is being copied, please do from now on :)

I agree with everyone. The writers are very talented and it involves a lot of time and energy .Those people who copy the original writers work are not just hurting them but also insulting them.

I ddnt knew abt dis thng until it was pointed out to me by one of my buddy out here..n m nt too happy to knw abt it..i seriously felt dsgusted at bein cheated like dis..if i,bein a non-writer,am feelin so bad abt dis then i cn guess wat d honest writers must b feelin..its a grave insult to their talent..there r many worthy n talented writers out here who dnt gt d dsrvd recognition n followers bcz of some dshonest 'writers' out here..i strongly feel dat a step shud b tken against dis sin n members shud nt like or cmmnt or buddy such cheats..thank u 4 bringing up dis topic!

What is the protocol here for dealing with these thieves? I don't see anything except a closed thread. Why is the member not banned and being allowed to continue retaining her account, and posting all over the forum?

At the very least there should be a thread with a list of all plagiarizers posted in it, so people are more aware. This kind of thing is definitely not being taken seriously enough.

If I say that I'm disgusted with this plagiarism thing then I would be cheating on my own feelings! This is a horrible horrible thing that is happening in the forum... The time, the energy and the effort a writer has to put in for writing one update is humongous! It has happened on number of occasions that I was not able to concentrate on my daily routine because something about my stories was constantly running through my head! I even was about to declare that I was going to fail in an upcoming paper because I couldn't think of anything apart from my story!

And for this only reason, I openly declare my disgust for the writer who had the nerves to copy-paste stuff from other websites! It is such a dishonour to the name of creativity... The original stuff came from professionals, copy-pasting their work with or without the permission is disrespectful to the genuine writers...

I don't care how ill-mannered or with how many grammatical errors a story has been written or the beautiful language that is used in it as long as it is a piece of somebody's OWN imagination. Our friends on this members write because they love to write on our beloved couple, none of them do it because they want to be recognized among the best on the Forums!

And honestly, even if the said person did it for this so-called recognition, I doubt she actually got what she wanted!

I appreciate this post and all the views posted here... I just hope that this goes to the concerned person ASAP; and for all the good in the world, fingers crossed that she actually realizes her mistake for real this time...
