I run away telling myself that I don't care, nothing matters to me, but you know that I cannot live without you.
Arnav knows that he cannot live without Khushi
he also know - or expects to know - that Khushi knows this. He knows that she is aware -
that he doesn't really mean it when he says he doesn't care
that when he says nothing affects him, he's lying - its does affect him
that he cannot live without her ...
Does Arnav know this?
Does Khushi know this?
And does Arnav know that Khushi is aware? Or is this wishful expectation?
There is a deep unfathomable bond between the two. They have connected at a deeper level than they know. It seems to be deeper than they realize and they know that they share something more than what they do with other people in other relationships.
Khushi showed an understanding of what he said. The single tear that rolled down her eyes when he said that he was nothing without her was an answer - Her silent answer to his silent confession!
It was an acknowledgement from Khushi in response to the acknowledgement from him.
In the review for the episode on 2nd April 2012, I'd stated that - the day Arnav stops pretending, Khushi will start accepting.
The day their facade will fall away like a decaying shield - will be an amazing day.
The day Arnav comes clean and the day Khushi comes clean,
no more barricaded doors, no more boarded up windows,
no more hidden skeletons in the closet,
no more hesitation in their steps,
no more looking away when their eyes meet and emotions surge,
their thoughts and feelings free to soar in the light that the reign of love is established indeed, and
their hearts agreed that they bow down to this new reign in their lives...
when Arnav and Khushi are seen, known and accepted as one.
This oneness that they accepted is now growing and becoming more and more evident.
Often, things that grow from inside out, take some time, but are long lasting - a seed in the earth, a baby within its mother, or love and faith in the soul and spirit. These are stronger and their bond is deeper than visible or even understandable. That the bond is shared is known - but never really known in all its depths.
Though Khushi understood every word that Arnav spoke and every word he did not speak - yet she wanted him to complete what she started - a confession of love.
Bear up some more girl. After all, this is the man for whom you have suffered much and for whom you have overlooked much. His heart is still tied to a few things, as is yours.
When yours bonds are broken and you are free to fly - he'll come and complete what you started.
Then, perhaps, the wonderful coming together of those that were always bonded deep within will be visible - and be celebrated.
