If Arnav remembers Khushi's confession, how come he hasn't flashed back to it even once? Khushi obviously isnt going to remember his confession unless memories comes back weeks after consuming bhang. So what was the point of the confession at holi? The track after that confession continued as if nothing had happened! So what was the use of showing it to us.

im guessing they are saving all these moments to be flashed when the time comes for ASR redemption (if actually they plan to have one!) so probably after khushi's outburst that loving him was the biggest mistake of her life (i feel hiding shyams secret from her in-laws was a bigger mistake... but whatever!) then all these flashes will get their chance of an "ASR brain tour" and he will (hopefully) feel he made a teeny tiny mistake then only two episodes filled with flashes of his "na-insaafi" towards khushi and her "insaafi" towards their love to break his masochist ego and make him drop the i-am-a-jerk act... probably sanaya can take another holiday then! 🤣

But after the bhang incident when Khushi came up to their room, he was really nervous because (as per his partial memory) he realized that he had confessed his feelings to her. He does not remember what Khushi had said (I thought maybe the curtain rod falling on his head was to make him remember this 😛) and so his MU was still very much in place (regarding the fact that she loves shyam 🤢). I agree with you that they should have shown atleast once that Arnav is remembering his confession again (just for the sake of continuity). But all I can think of is that this is nothing really new to him. He KNOWS he loves her...he has been going through hell since the past month because of this (he wants to hate her but can't). I am sure they will show him remembering this later.

They showed that Khushi felt something had happened between them but doesn't remember anything. So Khushi not having flashbacks of Holi was conveniently avoided.

The only thing I can see regarding "what was the point of the holi confession" was to show to the audience what is hidden deep in both their hearts. We already knew this after watching them for the past 8 months, but we were never directly told this. For me it was really heart warming to see this different side of them...telling each other their feelings...free from all the emotional baggage that they carry in real life. It was like watching them in an alternate universe (some fan fiction maybe? 😉) showing a glimpse of their unspoken love which is pure and unconditional. It was like a confirmation for the audience that Khushi loves Arnav and Arnav loves Khushi.

I also think the whole bhang thing was done to show the family (especially Anjali and Nani) that Arnav has deep feelings for Khushi. I think this is why Anjali and Nani are trying to act cupid to bring them toghether now (bali honeymoon and heer ranjha play). They know that these 2 love each other in their hearts. Also in future when all hell will break loose in RM, this knowledge will help Anjali/Nani to find out the truth.
