APRIL 3rd - DIALOGUES, EMOTION, and ACTING!

I want to THANK the CVs of the show for finallly giving us some fantastic DIALOGUES today!

I understand that the dialogues were spoken under the pretext of "Heer" and "Ranjha". But, the words spoken really beautifully illuminated the true feelings of Khushi and Arnav. Even Khushi wasn't fooled. She knows in her heart that the words Arnav spoke were from his own heart.

I've been questioning the direction and vision of the show after the last few weeks. And, I'm still hoping that the creators can put together MANY amazing episodes in a row. But, I feel like I should support their efforts today. When in doubt - I would always ask them to:

1 - Stay true to their characters

I thought both Barun and Sanaya were amazing today. Both during the "performance" and afterwards. I really felt that Arnav's backlash / defiance at Khushi after their performance was true to his character. And, Khushi's response was also in character.

2 - Convey with DIALOGUES

In that interview with Arshad Khan, he said they weren't sure whether the confession would happen through dialogue or dance. My PLEA to the makers of this show - you have two AMAZING actors in Sanaya and Barun. Don't waste them on a dance sequence (unless it's done well like the Teri Meri sequence and followed-up with dialogue). But, the way Barun and Sanaya deliver their dialogues is mind-blowing. I especially felt everything Barun/Arnav spoke today. He's just a great actor IMO. Use that!!!

3 - Remember - Honesty is the best policy

This show is at its best when emotions are shown in an HONEST way. Whether it's anger, or confusion, or lust, or love, etc... Don't hide these things under inadequate story-lines, or comedy, etc. Give emotions their own space and time. Show them in an honest way. That is what connects us viewers to the show.

Also - plus points today:

Sanaya looked GORGEOUS. Please either leave her hair fully out, or in a side ponytail/braid, or the way she had it during the holi episodes. But, I have hated her hair the last few episodes with the puff on top - stop doing that!!! Her hair and makeup was great today.
Barun looked amazing - although, if someone can ask Barun to gain some weight that would be good. :) I'm sorry, I love you Barun - but, you are getting too thin! I'm concerned!
The choice in background music throughout the episode was well-done. Felt different from recent episodes. More fresh.

I will have to re-watch the episode to get down all the great dialogues. Will try to add some later...
