OS: Love Through the Window Part 2

No POV

As time went by and khushi started Uni, which was coincidently the same as Arnavs, she learnt that Arnav was a very popular guy and girls always surrounded him wherever he went, he had a girlfriend, which in her view was a total bi***, but the thing was she was pretty and she showed it, whereas Khushi though was very beautiful she hid her beauty beneath big glasses which covered most of her face and for that reason guys did not find her attractive. And honestly she had liked to go unnoticed, she had preferred to be that way but that was before she had met Arnav, now she hated the fact that she wasn't as pretty or as confident as other girls.

I sat at my window staring out, I had tried so many times to write down those three words 'I Love You' but each time it was a fail. How was I supposed to tell him that I loved him, he had a girlfriend, who is way prettier than me, why would he feel for ME!

As I walked into my room, I noticed Khushi was sat at her window. She looked lost, or was she sad? Making my way towards the window I wrote down:

'Hey, why the long face, everything ok?'

I looked up to see Arnav looking at me with a note in his hand, how shall I tell you Arnav? Everything isn't ok. But nevertheless I smiled and wrote:

'Hi, don't worry, everything's fine :)'

'Why do I feel everything is not fine?

Why are you making it harder for me Arnav? I can never tell you the reason; I guess I'm just not the one, though all I feel is that you belong with me.

'I'm fine, I have to go now. Take care :)'

Clearly you're not fine Khushi. Why do I feel that her sadness is to do with me, the way her eyes look at me longingly, I can't help but feel a pang in my heart.

'Bye :)'

I closed my curtains and lay on my bed thinking about Arnav, and soon my eyes felt heavy and I fell into a deep slumber, with only Arnav in my mind.

Next day khushi was sat on the bench outside her house waiting for the bus to arrive, when Arnav came and joined her.

Khushi was lost reading her book, but then felt a hand moving a strand of her hair, and that's when she noticed arnav sitting next to her staring at her with an unknown look in his eyes. What was the look, Khushi did not know.

There was a comfortable silence between the two, neither of them spoke but they still felt content with just the presence of each other.

The silence was horridly broken by a car horn, it was Arnavs girlfriend, Lavanya, Khushi noticed. Before she knew it Arnav was off the bench and in Lavanya's car.

Urghh, I hate that Lavanya. I hardly get any time to sit and talk to arnav and when I did, why did she have to butt in for. But she is his girlfriend so I guess she has more rights over him than me. Just that thought brought a frown on my face.

I noticed how Khushi looked upset and annoyed by Lavanya's presence. Actually I don't understand why I am still with La, may be because everyone thinks we looked good together, maybe it was good for my image. But what about what my heart says, shouldn't I follow that.
