There are only so many ways to make a mangalsutra getting stuck in a shirt look even slightly meaningful. The actors are only as good as what's handed to them. You can't polish a turd man. You just can't. When they're given good scenes, they deliver. (IMHO).

As for their relationship. Look, even if they are doing the dirty (and I'm not saying they are) how is it any of our business? We watch the show for fun. The speculation here seems to be that they've recognized there is heat, may(or may not) have acted on it, and then decided they're not going to do any intimate scenes because it brings out feelings they don't want to deal with? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Quantum leap in logic man!

What's with discounting the possibility that they might genuinely just be 'good friends'? Or do you belong to the Mohnish Behl in Maine Pyaar Kiya school of thought? Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ban sakte! Obvious corollary being ek good looking ladka aur ladki toh bilkul dost nahi ban sakte!

And also, about them not wanting to kiss. Look, I really don't care if they kiss or don't kiss. Honestly, we didn't make 1.2 billion people by forehead kissing, no matter how passionately it was done. But, on the other hand, who am I to judge someone for their choices. They're not comfortable, then so be it. I respect that. (I may not respect them as actors for choosing that route if the script demanded they do it) But I do respect them as human beings.

again i agree with you , off scene equation is non of our buisness

but the discussion was about an interview that said both these actors are not comfortabIe with intimate scenes, which might be the reason for Iess romance

aItering an entire track i dnt get it, it is just bad management nthing abut the actrs

oh yes there is and I saw it also She refuses or something to that effect. One moment they show her cottoning on to the fact that maybe Shyam maybe the reason then next she goes on a How to lose a guy in 10 day scenario then she is the perfect bahu wife whatnot and now this

I give up where is the KKG who gave that spunky speech when she resigned from his company or when she showed him the error of his anger during the engagement with La bit It seems she is long gone and buried and brought out occasionally when the story starts to get stale

Totally agree with your bottom line.

Only trying to find some plausible explanations for the lack lustre episodes we seem to be getting, it is no reflection on any personal choices. There cannot be one single factor for the downward trend, it has to be a combination of several things, certainly weakness in the script and direction dept is not helping.

And now they have suddenly realised their committed and so the Rabba Ve's are falling flat?

Do u even realise how messed up that is?

On the sets it is crowded and all eyes are on them Rabba Ve-ing... I don't think it's the actor that make the Rabba Ve fall flat on its face its the director and editor who dont shoot it will and direct the actors... its an everyday job for them Yaar and how do we do at our everyday jobs? we suck at them and just plod our way through unless the boss is breathing down our neck! Same is the case with BS and SI.. they just need the director or who ever is in charge to make them get the steam out!

I dont know whats wrong with people!! If we go by that formula then the Joey Tribiani formula must be true: If their not sleeping together than there is chemistry on screen, if they are sleeping together than there is zero chemistry on screen... so basically what ur saying is they are sleeping together is liyay screen p sab thand thanda ho gaya hai

gimme a break!

no no no...u misunderstand love...I'm not making any connection between their real life chemistry n their perfomance...the forced rabba ves are purely cvs fault...even there the chemistry is undeniable...coz of their talent wat they might (my inference ofcourse, which could be completely off the mark) share off screen...my view has to do with sobti n irani...the show is another sore point altogether...

@enigma17: Thanks! It seems to me that the frustration people feel about the lack of story movement or gaps in continuity or just the bullshit that we see sometimes on screen is being attributed (very unfairly, I might add!) to the actors. They really have very little control over the script. I use the word loosely, it's a daily soap, they probably get handwritten sheets of napkins to learn their dialogues from.

The problem isn't the actors. It's the shoddy writing. And honestly, I don't even blame that. Can you imagine how mind-numbing it must be to have to write 20 mins of top notch stuff every single day, Mon to Fri. It's not humanly possible man. The best shows on TV air once a week, and that too not for the whole year. My favorite recent show was Sherlock (on BBC). If you haven't seen it...go watch it now! They had 3 episodes per season, one and a half hours each. It was top-notch. Creativity needs time and effort to shine through. You cannot expect them to write amazing stories every single day. No daily soap has that. Not in India. Not anywhere in the world. So set the bar low to begin with. You'll suffer less.

This show works because the leads act well and look good together and the writers are talented enough to write an occasional memorable story line. For me, I suspend disbelief and watch it for fun. That's the only way.

Dear Annie, Priya, Swati, Rabba ve,

The random thoughts I was having earlier

The actors do their job, go home to their spouses, partners, family and don't think about the show until the following morning when they get back to work and are handed the script for the day.😊

The writers/directors don't think. period😊

Us (You, me and hum) cannot STOP thinking about this frickin show day and night, 😭😃 even weekends, God what is wrong with us????

That is what I have been saying and asking about the artistic license of Indian actors. I know very little about the Indian cinematic and televison world.
I wondered if it was the scriptwriters and the CVs
Both Barun and Sanaya are superb but pressure from the public about their chemistry should not deter them from their acting skills nor should it inhibit them.
Its a job and no doubt there will be worse to come if they do as well as they are at present
