I just love it when you go on and on ... as I've said before it enhances my pics and their selection when you add your back-story and beautiful analysis to themOriginally posted by: shwetachauhan
Ah Kalpana.. ! What a beautiful post! Delighted to see it..!
I simply love how you have brought out the contrast and the similarities in the two dances.. The first one though holds a special place in my heart!! There must be something to it, it left a longer lasting mark with us! The difference was more in the treatment i think.. The first one was built up on and then explored upon later as well.. the second one came and left abruptly, and thus, some of the magic lost..!
What was not different was the passion and the confidence.. just look at the way he holds on to her hands throughout the dances! It makes you sigh.. ahh.. the security, love and care in that grasp!!
In both the dances, ASR knows the woman belongs to him, only Khushi is more aware of it in the second one, although bewildered but following and matching him every step of the way in both! Goes a long way in saying the story on both sides.. The second one definitely had the added passion and aggression of the man betrayed yet bent on proving to himself and the world, his right and possession over the woman!
A special mention to particularly the second pic from teri meri sequence that you have captured in ... his hand is always in the right place at the right time ... Its my most favorite from the dance..!! the best one!!! The lyric goes something like ..har ehsaas mein tu hai har ik yaad mein tera afsaana.. and he comes and holds her hand at yaad!! awwwh!! loved it! Look at the expression there! As if he is saying, dont worry.. no yaad anymore.. I am here now! Never gonna let that sadness touch your face ever again!! Some more sighing!
Pardon me.. your posts make me go on and on..! 😳
