Ok... I'm back to write what I wanted.
When this episode first started out, I was again disappointed...OOOHHH NNNOOO... not another filler/ senseless comedy. I mean we had to bear so much OTT slapstick comedy from Khushi last week, now it was the entire family that was acting up! Just great 😡
Then I thought that this episode was especially designed to advertise the great success of this show at SPA, recently, to some new, curious, viewers who want to see what the big deal is in this show. Seee, our leading pair are sssooo damn sizzling hot; Arnav has such expressive eyes, face, body language ; he looks drop dead gorgeous in casuals (jeans and brown shirt); our Maami ji is shooo funnyyy; our villian wears a tux; and so forth.
BUT, was there anything in it for us serious viewers, who have followed the show from the beginning? Hey, we are the ones who have been yelling to the the cvs to get a grip on this great love story, not to make a mess out of their own masterpiece.
SO DID THEY?
Well, in some, small parts, yes, but overall, no, not yet.
Tants and Doods analysis is too good to be improved, but a few of my own points:
1. if bd has to be used 😡 please select sb who matches the actor; hair, weight, etc
2. Stop cheapening the billionaire Raizada family and Mansion: started with a pathetic bathroom for the business tycoon with expensive taste, and now bad party decorations esp those huge yellow lanterns. You're telling me they couldn't book a 5 star hotel hall and 2 suites???
3. Due to the omnipresent huge yellow lanterns, I couldn't enjoy the dance properly. I wanted to yell at the cameraman to either take them down for good, or just shoot this sequence from a better, unobstructed angle. how come no cvc thought of that?
4. The dance between two tormented souls, both madly in love as well as in hate with each other, was satisfactory, but could have been several notches more sexy and passionate, had they been given a bigger dance space and better, more passionate dance steps that tango is famous for. After all, wasn't the whole point of this was to allow ASR to vent out his pent up passion and desire for Khushi; his maddening need and possessiveness to brand her as his and his alone, in full public view; show how tortured and agonized, his soul, mind and heart are. One dance step was not shown- when Arnav and Khushi both move several steps back, then Kushi is supposed to run to Arnav, who catches her and then lifts her high. Only lift shown.
5. Some significant points:
- Anjali pushing Shyaam off the dance floor to allow Arnav and Khushi space to dance more freely.
- so much candle light in payash room (so much love, contentment, and hope) and only a couple of them in arshi 's room ( so much darkness that they can barely see each other), which Arnav, in his spite and overconfidence that things will turn his way, blows out only to realize that things aren't in his control here.
- when forced by circumstances to work together, no matter what their feelings are, Arshi were shown to be a natural and well tuned team. That says a lot for their future, hopefully. They realize the trouble they are in, at the same instance; both set off together to find a solution, Khushi showing the way; when he finds it, Arnav comes to inform her and she promptly decides on their next course of action; BEST SCENE was when Arnav, without any thought of his battered heart, offers Khushi his strong hands to help her up from the bed, and she for once does not hesitate to accept his help. Her doing so shows her innate trust in her Arnavji, something that needs to be built on so that they can be together for real like they were at the end of that camaraderie scene. Now lets see how this fragile comradeship can tackle this fire in their room.
-Again,too many forced RV, esp the bed one could have been shown a lot better.
Thanks. Please do comment.
