So today's episode was beyond adorable and Barun made a guest appearance while Arnav took a back seat. So there isn't much to munch on but I do have something to say:

I'm stuck between hating the fact that I've never had a drink in my entire life and thanking my lucky stars I have enough fear in Allah to keep me away from the devils water.

I have always had a nagging feeling that my loose tongue would become unhinged if I were to be intoxicated and this little fear was confirmed when I had my baby. After 12 hours of gruelling labour, where they didn't even let me see my relatives or my husband so that I could hollar at him for landing me in this mess they finally decided to do a c-section because the damn baby refused to come out.

So they rolled me in to the operating room, my already shot nerves screaming in fear, I asked the attendant to put me under because I have an irrational (?) fear of OPERATIONS!!! (imagine 80's style Bollywood movie dialogue with the lights focusing below the actors face). He refused seeing as it was my first time and I was exhausted so wasn't in any position to be given an added dose of anaesthesia. But when I started to cry buckets which would put Anjali and Payal to shame he finally did himself a favour and put me to sleep.

All I remember from that time is being wheeled in to the ICU my eyes glued closed and the attendant crying in frustration over my head as they transferred me to my bed "Bas ke jiyay Sahar, kya ho gaya hai aap ko?!?!"

I replied in my zen state "Main bohat zyada bol rahi thee?" I asked.

"Je haan" he said in a huff.

"I'm sorry!" I said in earnest and then continued to say 'I'm sorry' till the poor man put me under again.

So I am convinced that if ever intoxicated I shall do and say thing I will not remember but regret. Hence today's episode was just another affirmation of my fears and was the perfect "Don't Do Drugs/Alcohol" message!!

WHAT THE f**k MOMENT OF THE DAY:

I'm sorry Anjali ji, hum aap ka dil nahi dukhana chahtay thay magar Arnav ji...

O wait haan yaad aya... aap ka patti chotiya hai jo humaray ghar main ghus aya tha, aur phir humari shalwar main bhe ghusnay ke koshis ke... ab yaad aya koun sa sach batana ziyada zaroori tha!!

Whoa! Munchiee!! Poor you rey.. I only heard my aunt screaming while I waited outside the OT, and I promised myself that, never will I get into such a situation! Two weeks later, I got my menses! Ugh!! Yeah, thanks Eve, for eating that apple!

And I'm with you on the message you're trying to spread! Say no to drugs/alcohol!

To the epi now,

Arnav, Barun, loved him!! The total epi was about him!

And that truth thing, Haan yaar, Kab samjhegi ladki? Hum hothe toh, Creepwa ko kheench ke do lagate thhe, nahin? (Though I think do bohat kam padenge! It's creepwa after all!) Baas! Khel khatam, Dukaan bandh! RabbaVe! Hahah!

And I really can't work out the Di-Bhabhi relation!!

Like it's already been said, not laughing at your pain at all...ok maybe a little bit because your story hit a little too close to home...although I don't share your experience, just 15 months ago my sister who also has a complete (and well irrational) fear of everything related to blood and surgery was in labor for 26 hours before they decided to do a C-section because the baby refused to come out...
Suffice it to say, the whole hospital floor heard the initial denial 😆 and when she finally was undergoing surgery, the doc didn't put her under and my brother-in-law sitting on her side forced her to look at him all throughout the surgery...i remember several hours later when the excitement was over she was all annoyed that her neck was stiff and in pain coz she was forced to look to her side for so long during surgery and he goes...well that's coz they had a mirror on the other side in the room for some reason and if you had even peeped, you would have seen more blood than you've ever been prepared for when you can't even handle needles in your veins and we really would've needed to call for celestial help trying to calm you down...so yea your story reminded me of another someone who definitely doesn't need to get drunk to bring out this intoxicated side of hers. I guess I wrote too much but your story put a nostalgic smile on my face..so thanks for that. 😃
