@Jamba: 👏. So agree on Barun's look. He looks disheveled and his clothes look like they shrank in the laundry and are not pressed. The vests seem 2 sizes too small and many of his current suits seem shiny and not in a tasteful way. He was much more dapper looking in the early part of the series. I would also have them throw away all the hair gel he uses!

Hi Diya, I signed into IF for three times to check for your TWTW. As usual great sum up of last weeks story. Yes it is little bit boring but what made me happy this week is the temple scene.

1) Kushi fighting with Devi Mayya and when Arnav said that she is his wife and carried her.

2) Loved her emotions which spoke that at least someone said she belongs to them, which she is looking for. And the tear drop of her satisfaction and questioning him why is this happened this way...are really well directed.

3) The fight which brought the fact that she is the reason for his pain

Any how i know, nothing much is going to happen this Monday. She got a point, but she will put it aside and by te end of the week, again she will pick it. Until then i guess next week we get many fake romance scenes. Initially i hated fake loving scene done with kushi in Arnav's shirt, but now i am looking for it Because now both of them know that they are acting, we all know, some how there inner feelings over power the fakeness. Also we might have some really scenes this week because of holi festival.

Thanks for the beautiful recap of last week. Last Monday was quite okay for me. Even though Arhi proclaimed their hate for each other, we all know that the word hate really means love in Arhi vocabulary. I liked seeing Arnav's inner turmoil and true to his character lashed out at Khushi to escape from his feelings. Then came all the fake love and the gifting of Kangans on Tuesday. I felt IPK had reached it's nadir (barring the SR scene last week). Arnav's fake love towards Khushi just did not work for me, what made it even more devastating was Khushi didn't know what was happening. I'm glad he told her after Mamiji left but that scene just added a lot more miles for our boy. Next came the kangan gifting scene. There has been so much build up of the significance of Kangan since the last few months, that scene brought all that crashing down very quickly. I really wish the CVs do come back to the kangans and have Arnav explain the significance to Khushi some day . I had decided to not watch the Wednesday episode . The atyachar on Khushi was really getting to me , I reminded myself as to why I did not watch Indian soaps before. I did watch the epi later at night. Khushi's poolside scene and Arnav's 'get out' made me tear up yet again.

Had very low expectation of Thursday but it turned out okay at the end. Loved Friday although I have to admit that I did not care too much about the mandir scene. This kind of scene only works in reel life, imagine someone picking up his wife in a mandir real life 😆 I felt better after I read all the symbolisms and why the CVs had to insert this scene .

The Arhi confrontation and the jalebi making made it all worth it for me.. You've explained the scenes beautifully.

Anjali has started giving me the creeps. Her cold look and tone of voice tells me that the CVs have some big plans for our Anji baby. Only hope they don't darken her character completely, after all she used to be a very sweet person in the beginning of the show.

Glad that NK will stick around for some time now. I think Snakewa's accident is making them change their story big time in the short-term. As much as I hate him , I think Arhi's love story will not make huge progress until he gets back.

Looking forward to the holi episodes.

Sanaya's hair style needs help; that wig/extensions -awful! I've seen Sanaya's pics and she has pretty and reasonably long hair. Not sure why they need the fake hair!!!

You're post was just WOW! so long and i love the way you have analysed the whole week's epsiodes! i really appreciate your work but i have nothing to say honey cos you have covered EVERYTHING there!

Diya, totally enjoy reading your weekend updates.

Arnie boy looked so dapper in the Diwali episodes- they need to get back to those good looking suits fast, or now that he is working from home- get him into those Derby casuals. As for Khushi, they need to get her into prettier saris - like the one she wore in Teri Meri sequence.

the one thing that stood out to me was the way he didn't even think about saying "she is MY WIFE and I am taking her HOME. will U stop ME?" he didn't think about it. he doesn't have to.
