I hate myself for reacting the way I do, for fictional characters behavior which is not in anyone's control except the CVs. It is their story and they have every right to tell it the way they want. By the same token, if I am investing my time and my energy because I have grown to love madly the acting skills of two actors BS and SI and I want to see them emote almost flawlessly on screen, I do have the right to have some expectations. They are doing a wonderful job of enacting even the most incredulous scenes, but why are the CVs hell bent on ruining the watching experience for us.
What is with all the furor in the forum. People are still finding faults with Kushi and backing ASR character. Really? I do not know if my blood is boiling because of that or for how distressing today's show was.
ASR, the mighty ASR, held Kushi's hands, even thought she was trying to release his hand and dragged her into RM to show everyone they are married. That itself was a low point for the character. You are angry at Kushi. You feel betrayed by Kushi. You seek revenge on Kushi on what you think she did to you and your precious dimwit Di. You already stabbed her with a knife in the back and then left her wounded and shattered for the others to twist the knife in deeper with glee and pleasure and comment the blood oozing out of Kushi's is not theirs!! Your precious DI cannot handle the fact her husband cheats, came unscathed from her pregnancy even after a major accident, but a 18 year old is rendered defenseless, naked, and vulnerable. Today everyone became a Shyam towards Kushi.
It is ok to call Shyam's character as filth because it is a filthy character. But it s not ok to call ASR a Coward or a loser, because he is cute and sexy and we all want to bed him. If ASR is called any name people make posts preaching about how wrong it is to name call a fictional character. They are hurt for a fictional character being called names. But they do not hurt for the plight of an 18 year old. Really? So it is not ok for us to call ASR a coward or ASR wrong, but it is perfectly ok to dehumanize an 18 year old. Really? I always wondered why SNS and DAB are highly ranked. I used to pull my hair. Now I know. Women love seeing other women getting tortured. If this statement makes this to be my last post, so be it. We cannot see another women to be happy. Is that the sadism behind these reactions.
They killed Kushi's characterization. Now they are defacing ASR characterization as well, by turning him into a coward. If he could drag and marry her against her wishes, he could have dragged her into the room as well. Yet he doesn't utter a single word and runs away. So the so called mother can't slap Kushi, but you can literally leave her naked and bleeding and defenseless and run away?
People will say, did you see the precap? See how he is protecting Kushi from Shyam. Protecting my a**. Is this protection? You are protecting her from a butcher, but you are skinning her alive one limb at a time? Is this the characterization CVs are planning for ASR?
Some will ask, how will the story move forward? I am not a creative. But, he can still seethe with anger and punish her in his own twisted mind, but could he at least make his revenge personal instead of letting the entire society punish her. Is he not even man enough to do that? Would it have been that much more impossible, if he shut them up saying, listen all. You wanted me to get married. I did. I hate all the rituals and I did it. As to your question why now and why today, it is none of your business. I always do things when I want and how I want. That is ASR and it should not be new to you. So mind your own business and then he could have dragged Kushi away and maybe said million more mean things to Kushi. But how CVs unfolded this scene today was probably one of the most regressive episodes I have seen on TV.
Yes. Episode was uplifting. Shyam get to feel uplifted in thinking - see Kushiji, none of these people really love you, only I do. Yes. It was a fearless episode as all the other Shyam's in the show left fear of showing their true colors and pounced on Kushi for a pound of her flesh they think they so rightfully deserved.
