Exactly that is what hurt me the most---the fact that I did not expect them to do this. Any woman in Khushi's place would have blurted out that ASR forced her into it.

No. Garima is not related to her. Shahsi is married to Garima, who is his second wife. Payal is his real daughter from his first marriage, and Khushi was brought in as an orphan by Garima. Nevertheless, he has never treated Khushi any different from Payal.
