There is always a method to madness in any serial and any Mills and Boons for that matter... the point is that if the man is perfect and does not need to be reformed or corrected then all the female fans tend to lose interest in him... who talks about Naiktik or Aham or whatever his name his..
ASR is the talking point because his character is redeemable thought a present is at its lowest point.. he can be brought back from the path of destruction etc... he is bad.. but he can be corrected or he has the ability to correct himself... and when he does that little by little (even a miniscule bit) we will applaud him and in all likelihood Khushi will forgive him...his remorse will be too much to bear... for her or for us.
Leading ladies in these stories are mostly always right.. like Khushi is... she is put on a pedestal and it is because of that she will suffer...I hate it but i also know that this is a story and the idea is for us to see ASR reform, not Khushi. And ASR can reform only through Khushi's pain or sacrifice or whatever
What Asr has done is horrible: to save his sister's marriage to a creep he has ruined a young girl's life... it is strange that he should do this because he is so sensitive to his sister, so by logic he should be sensitive to other women to and their pain... but somehow it is never ever shown that way. How can a man who loves women in his own family so much and respects them so much can be so unkind to other women from the outside? he was unkind to Payal and to Khushi with that "break the marriage threat"... and that is the flaw I find hard to ignore...
I know eventually all will be right between them etc etc... but can a woman ever ever really forgive a man who breaks her trust how ever good his reason may be... now that where logic goes out of the window and willing suspension of disbelief comes in... this is after all not real life.. it is make-believe story...
Take it with a pinch of salt. That is the only way to stay sane and not angry with the "characters" in whom we have invested so much

As an audience I think we should be mature enough to understand that certain situations need to occur in order for characters to react, if they dnt react there will be no drama, if no drama then no show..

Yes we get attached to the show/ characters, in doing so we express our opinions on the twists and turns. Having said that we also shouldnt go too deep into it.

Every human being or even a breathing soul makes mistakes, bad decisions and so fourth and this is exactly what Arnav has done. We see how its a mistake because we know whats been going on with Shaym but Arnav dsnt.

Yes Arnav should of asked Khushi even in anger regarding the issue but he didnt, but lets not forget what Khushi once said on their trip to nainital when he was leaving the dabaa that when his angry any sense of logic goes out the window.

Secondly, Khushi like any other normal person in my opinion 'naturally' should of asked 'why' he was asking her to do that, whether he had answerd her is another topic..

I really think its completely fine the way Arnav has reacted just keeping in mind some of the flaws.
It is a drama and such things need to take place in order for the story to move on, Yes it could of been slightly better in certain scenes but never mind for now.

I just hope the writes and the screen play is better written in the upcoming episodes.

*In regards to the point your raised about respecting the women in his family but different story else where, completely understand where your coming from and agree too BUT thats also a reality unfortunately in many families, even here in the UK where you would expect things to be different but its the same.
Again I actually like that the writers are keeping it real as much as they can with the whole 'grey characters'.

Actually is the part about his characterization that bothers me the most... He should have been kinder.. the writers should have found some other way to get him to make the deal with khushi
