I have to ask this.

Never once did he try to give her the benefit of doubt however compromising the situation.

Does he not remeber her fiance's name was Shyam?

Does he not remember he pushed her away during Diwali?

Does he not remember she got engaged only after that?

Does he not remember how she cried about her fiance?

Does he not remember the night of the dance when she said her family and she had been cheated?

Does he not remember all the selfless things she did for him and La?

Does he not remember all the things she did for his family?

Does he not remember that she said the broken engagement left her shattered?

Does he not remember he kissed her and she kissed him back or does he think she does that with every man?

Does he not remember all her firm faith and lectures on marriage?

Incredible that he forgot so much and somehow that is not in line with the dimaag character of Arnav

All I can say now Rima is that Arnav's brain doesn't work when he is angry and right now he is at the peak of his anger.He will put two and two together later on when his over worked brain cools down😊

The guy loves his sis more...that is very obvious!😆 and I think anjali will continue to hold that place..after seeing his reaction tonight..i can only see hatred in his eyes for sankha devi..not hurt or anger as some feel here😆 😆that is pure hatred!not anger!

Nobody means anything to him in front of anjilli...personally i won't give a guy like arnav a second thought who can't maintain a balance between his relations...he doesn't want to give the woman who he was abt to confess his love a chance to even explain herself says a lot abt her importance in his life.

Despite ALL the points you have mentioned Khushi DOES and ALWAYS will love only Arnav. Because she sees him for the true person he is. She understands that he fails to see reason when he is angry.
When your world comes crashing down, when betrayal of the worse kind plays in front of you, one does not stop to think of giving someone the benefit of doubt. Besides though it has been 3 days for us, it has probably only been an hour since everything has been revealed for Arnav. With his past, his lack of ability to anyways trust, his protective instincts for his sister, plus actually seeing Shyam's true colors in front of him i think it is ridiculous to even think that Arnav would sit back to think of all the points you listed.
Besides there have been many instances in the past when Khushi too misunderstand Arnav. When he broke his engagement with Lavanya, she assumed the worst without giving him a chance to explain, when NK was staring at her back and he opened her band again she blasts him without understanding the reason. So many do tend to misunderstand what they see until an effort is made to clear the misunderstanding.
Yes, with time and once he talks to Khushi, if she gets a chance to explain he WILL put 2 and 2 together and the misunderstanding will clear. But now it is but natural for him to misunderstand based on what he has seen on the terrace and then his conversation with Shyam in the room.

He obviously cares, but we need to understand his situation. He has been getting one shock after the other in just one day. He is scared to death by his sisters accident, wants to confess to his love but finds out about his jijaji being such a cheat. A man whom the entire family trusted and his sister almost worshiped turns out to be so evil. It's a double blow for him because he heard Khushi talk in such terms and words to Shyam. His brains in a mess of his own, where he doesn't want to keep his sister in a marriage like this, but he can't even find the courage to tell her the truth. In all of this, how can any human possibly apply his brains and think of something that needs so much of attention and presence of mind.
