Hi Sush and the Spice Girls,
Nice post and wonderful comments!!
We can finally breathe a little easy now that 'Love is in the Air"!! Today's episode was all about love and our Arhi. Nobody else mattered and I'm so glad that the CVs kept it this way.
I loved the way CVs showed the gradual progression through Arnie's realization of love, to start being bold and vocal about it to his lady love, Khushi initially resisting his advances and attraction , but finally gave in and had the aha moment herself!! Simply genius storywriting, screenplay , direction and of course acting.
I for one cannot imagine a daily soap to have such depth.
So finally Khushi gets it, she knows that 'Arnavji' is crazy about her but being the firecracker herself, she needs that verbal assurance from him. And all credit to her, she's being very persistent and it is only a matter of time before he gives in.
I loved the car scene, the bangle scene and their journey home. These two really know how to emote, so much said in such few words. And better they keep it that way , because the moment they start talking, they are after each other's lives. 😃
Not sure why he had to use his mouth to take out the bangle but if he was doing this to unsettle her, he was bang on !! Loved the little tussle with the her hand before she gave him. This guy really knows how to take control and woo a lady in his own 'khadoos' way.
I know you were not crazy about him gifting her the bangles but I did not mind it. He knew she was very mad at him for yelling at her in front of everybody. He knew he had to do something to 'manao 'her and bangles seemed to be very near and dear to her heart. So bang on again!! That did the trick…. And waise bhi , I think of the real life business tycoons, they are human and am pretty sure they have done uncharacteristic stuff for the love of their lives at some point in their lives. Hey – There is a romantic hidden in all of us , so chalo ASR ko bhi maaf kar dete hain 😊
I'm loving it that Anjali and Nani are completely behind Arhi. To tell you the truth I was always a little apprehensive about how they would feel about getting two daughter in laws from the same family. But I was proved wrong and I am maha thrilled about Anjali's support.
But what I found OTT was his show of care for Khushi after she fainted. I think he overdid the concern bit, they could have kept it somewhat muted. Maybe something like him pacing up and down in his room all concerned about Khushi but staying away from the room where other family members were present. But again maybe I'm the only one and this is just a nit in the big scheme of things.
But completely agree with you, don't want ASR to turn into a mushy bundle of cotton. Please let them preserve his character integrity.
Thoughts and feedback most welcome!!
