opposites? yes! equals? yes again!

Something i wanted to say about today.. It is a story of Arnav and Khushi and how their 'star crossed' story evolves into a love story..

but a lot of incidents including today's prove they have a lot in common..

when Akash confronts the crying Guptas, he says that his brother is the most important person in the house.. agar usko aitraaz nahin hai, toh koi problem nahin hogi.. he is the decision maker of the house... the family runs around him.. about his relationship with La, about his anger, about his marriage, about his regretful past..
aap darruye math, bhai sab kuch theek karr lega..
and why wouldn't he? it was him who was responsible for the break off, him who'll do his best to save this marriage, not just because he repents about the break off, but also because he cares for his brother feelings for Payal... (and he loves someone 😛)

when buaji is talking about this, she asks Payal and Garima not to tell Khushi about it..
pehle hi itna sab kuch hai uske sarr par..
here again, she is the family's sole earner.. knowingly or not, it is she who keeps the family together.. her cheerful talks, her marriage, her 'sanak'..

BOTH of them are the center of their respective families'.. be it for financial (or matrimonial 😆) purposes, for mere survival from day to day, for showering love, or as the as 'vent your anger here' supporters..

to each other, they are opposites, to the world, they are opposites, but equals!

P.s. great idea, eh writers? bringing out both of these scenes today and highlighting their importance in the same episode.. what i am glad about is so far only we (at IF) acknowledged they were the pyramid of their families' happiness, today even the families confessed to that!

ahem i am a 200% sure Gupta family will not, maybe the Raizadas will, just maybe cuz he loves his sister... i was thinking more on the lines of who will be 'the equal' AFTER their marriage..obviously, it won't be the same..
