Faraq Padta Hai-The Parallels

Yet another great episode today..I know a lot of you are disappointed to see not as much as ArHi and more family drama, but I still loved today's episode..The fiasco with Payal has once again given birth to many new possibilities..What exactly is Mami's past that she shuts up her nonsensical blabbering at the mere mention of it? Will Payal confide in Aakash about Shyaam? On a different note, I feel sorry for Payal now, her future husband is a spineless coward who needs to grow a pair ASAP! I shudder to think Payal's plight in the house after marriage..No one is willing to speak up against any injustice in that house baring Nani and ASR..

Moving on to the ArHi bits, Barun Sobti once again gave a superlative performance today..The guy just gets better and better with each passing day! I honestly cannot praise him enough..👏

The moment he hears her voice his entire demeanor changes..He looks apprehensive, wondering whether he is conjuring all this up in his mind at first..Then he catches her glimpse in the mirror and what follows next is poignant..He keeps looking at it, not moving, not breathing, afraid the mirage will break should he tear his eyes away..It finally sinks in that she is safe and sound and he lets out the breathe he was holding..His whole body slumps down as relief washes over him and he rests his head against the steering wheel, thanking any supreme force for keeping her safe, for bringing her back to him..He got his life back at that moment and Barun Sobti conveyed all that and so much more in a scene that was completely devoid of dialogues! Kudos to the man for emoting so much with just his eyes and body language!👏

Faraq Padta Hai Reloaded: If Arnav was relieved to see Khushi safe and sound, ASR was pissed to see her haggling over chana while he had traveled to hell and back thinking something had happened to her..He strides over to her, fire gleaming in his eyes, grabs hold of her and demands to know where she had been..He blasts out at her for her reckless behaviour and shows her that bangle shred he has been holding on to for his dear life, as if that solitary piece would explain his plight to her..Then the anger vanishes and love, care, starts oozing out of him..His eyes soften, his face a mask of concern, as he asks her if she has any idea what he went through..He cups her cheek and bellows "What if I lost you?".. This is huge people! ASR has willingly put himself in a vulnerable position today..He let her know that he was worried sick, he told her that the very thought of losing her is unbearable for him..He is openly declaring his concern, letting her know that had something happened to her, living might not have been an option for him either..A startled Khushi demands to know what difference does it make to him and the signature "Faraq Padta Hai Kyunki..." rolls out..

Now this is where things get interesting..

Before, after he uttering these very same words upon learning of her engagement, he put his defensive shields up and instead of answering her queries he decided to play it mean..He made it a mission to make her confess that she is not all that unaffected by him, not because he wanted to be with her ( not consciously at least), rather he wanted to humiliate her even further..He blamed her for affecting him so much, and he wanted to punish her for finding a way into his heart, easily breaking down the walls he had spent years building up..Even then he knew somewhere in the back of his mind that he loved her, but he was nowhere near ready to accept and acknowledge that love..

Today, the situation was similar and yet, so very different..Once again, KKG asks Arnav why he cares so much and he doesn't have an answer..But look at how different his reaction is..He can't hold her gaze anymore and looks away dejected, almost as if he is ashamed for not being able to verbalize his feelings..Now, he knows he is in love and he has accepted the fact, but ASR was always a man of action, not of words..For someone who had guarded his heart with vigour, always closing himself out of any emotional bonds except the one with his sister, its so very hard to utter those three precious words..Its not that he doesn't want to tell her, its just he doesn't know how to tell her..😳

While he wants her to read his eyes and understand his feelings, she wants to him come out clean for once and all..Khushi knows very well that Arnav was concerned for her, and she knows why he was concerned as well..That is exactly why she was angry with him today..She is tired of dancing around her feelings for him, tired of fighting whats between them..I know a lot of us want her to understand his silence but we must not forget that this girl was jibed mercilessly by him on diwali night when she dared to question his motives..Its only fair for her to demand an answer before she lets the guards down and hands her heart on a platter to him..Boy it is going to be a journey to watch these two strong headed people finally confessing..Not one of them is ready to surrender yet, each waiting for the other to make the move..Things are getting very interesting!

BTW must say I for once am happy that these two haven't declared their undying love for each other yet..This chasing game is way too exhilarating to end so soon..😈

Random Musings:

1. ASR goading while he saw that NK didn't know her wrist size was so adorable! See KKG, you want a man like ASR who notices every single detail about you from a missing earring to the slippers you are wearing!😉
2. Someone hand over the 'Most boring couple of the year' award to Payal and Akash already..Their whole fight and make up sequence was yawn inducing to say the least..🥱
3. OMFG that precap! I am dead! So HAWT! I bet KKG didn't even feel the pain, too busy trying to control that heartbeat which is erratic as anything thanks to the feeling of his lips/tongue on her wrist..😳
   

Can't wait for tomorrow's episode now..

I was just thinking about the difference in the fark padtha hain... the journey has been really long for ASR.. and the amount of farq is getting deeper and deeper and hence the shifty eyed look when khushi demands to know why as against the shocked look he had given when he had come to know of her engagement. there he was shocked himself to know that farq padta hain.. here, he knows it very well.. it is excruciatingly painful for him to take it further.

also, to be noted here is he says "of course farq padtha hain" that is the essential difference. But of course! why are you even asking? is the implication.

Eeeks, I call marrying Hotwa in next to next janam just to let you know 😉 Man, the way ASR cupped KKG's face in his hands, haaayee mein mar jawan. like its not fair, why does KKG happen to be the luckiest girl in the world😆 The world isn't fair I tell you, first poverty & now all the other girls being deprived of such januableness 😆 Oh lord, I need help! I love how the man was all, she's mine bitch, shes going with me to NK, & poor NK's all like a scared little squirrel about to get eaten by some big hawk 😆 PayAsh should be shown to babies, so they can fall asleep, I mean if your baby does sleep, or if you cant get sleep, watch PayAsh, instant neend ki golis without prescriptions 😆 I just wanted the whole episode to be all about my Arnav biitwa & his hot face. I mean the guy looks hot in every expression, happy, sad, angry, like anytthing happens, he will stay hot. I also loved him going into Englisss babu mode, haaaye its so hot. Its not even an american accent, its like a hotness accent which only he can pull of. Like why is he so hot! The man is making my life terrible with such januableness, like Jenny is gonna die forever alone! Lovely post again babes 🤗

You said it! Before his own exclamation of "Faraq Padta Hai" shocked him, and he immediately went in damage control mode, doing what he does best, hiding under the cloak of arrogance and cruelty..But he is a changed man now..He knows 'Faraq Padta Hai, Bohot Faraq Padta Hai", but he doesn't know how to express himself with words..He still isn't ready to put himself in such a vulnerable position and I don't blame him for being that way, this is someone who has faced the harsh realities of life at a tender age and hence has decided to shut himself out from feeling, loving, in an effort to protect himself..

At the same time I cannot blame Khushi for seeing an answer either..They are each right in their own places..It will be interesting to see who gives in first..
