How can IPK keep getting better and better with every passing week? How do the CVs not only maintain the awesome quality and standard they've set for themselves, but pass it too so effortlessly! I am awed over and over again by Barun Sobti, and today he totally bowled me over. His breath sticking in his throat really got to me - he is just hands-down the best actor on Indian Television right now.
But I'm also loving these little full circles the CVs are throwing our way. In the MahaEpisode, it was a shoutout to the first episode with Arnav pulling open Khushi's hair to hide her bare back and save her from the glances of the world. And with this road accident drama, again we're going to see a full circle. Remember the guest house scene? Both Khushi and Arnav received injuries that night when Khushi's bangle broke - Khushi in her wrist, and Arnav on his palm. It's the same thing again tonight as well.
During the guesthouse scene, Arnav left home in a hurry to find Khushi. He was panicking a little inside, knowing he'd sent a girl to the collapsing building, and she hadn't reached home by then. He yelled her name, searched for her, a little distraught, and when he found her, he was relieved. But then she pushed him and he pinned her against the wall in anger, crushing her bangle between her wrist and his palm. That night long ago was one crucial scene where I could point my finger at the screen and say "He loves her now."
And tonight. Arnav leaves home in a hurry to find Khushi as she still hasn't come back. When he learns of the accident, he panics like crazy, runs, trips and falls over, and we can see the raw pain, anguish, heartbreak and fear clawing at his insides, making him go mad and die a million deaths over and over again. This time, Arnav himself digs Khushi's broken bangle in his own palm, causing himself pain in the remorse over how many times he's hurt her. And in the SBS segment we see that Khushi has hurt herself (accidentally I assume) with her bangle in her wrist.
A full circle again, indeed. I am dying to see their reunion again, and please PLEASE, give me an Arhi hug CVs, dammit! I've been dying to see one ever since the failed hospital hug. I want to again be able to point at the screen and say "He is madly deeply and passionately in love with her now."
Remember Lalit Mohan's picture update to his FB wall? It was a pic of Barun holding out his palm where the bangle had cut him in the guesthouse scene. 😉
