I think this kiss symbolizes Khushi and Arnav reaching a new point in their relationship, a point from which they cannot retreat. Whether or not his intentions were romantic, he's already taken that step for them both.
I made a post a couple of months back describing Arnav as a black hole and how there's a certain point around a black hole from which matter cannot go back. With this kiss, Arnav has extended that point out to Khushi and has pulled both of them into a state from which there is not return because you might be able to take words back, but how do you take a kiss back?
Btw, even though I'm one of the many people on this forum who got carried away by the precap, I had a nagging feeling in me when I saw this expression on his face:
Is it me or does he look kind of menacing? Like his mind is on a completely different track than what we think? Maybe this is his plan like a lot of people on the forum think.
