HI Sush,
Holding onto my "Cautious Optimism.." I think we are moving forward in the right direction or should I say back in time where it all started.
The entire episode was good but I intend to talk only about the last scene coz this is why I love IPK and hate it when anyone messes with it.
The episode started where it left of yesterday. Arnav had made several attempts to speak with Khushi starting with the "How dare you ?" then following her outside the house and today during her phone call but when does Khushi ever give him a chance to speak . A shagun was yet another chance to have the last word.
There is Arnav a day later after spending a few moments in her bed the night before knocking at her door to be greeted by a full on nautanki. Loved his expression while staring at her with a perplexed expression slowly changing to a slight chuckle. He is there for one and only one purpose and that is to see her and finsih the conversation which was left unfinished , atleast according to him . The mere mention of her name leads him to the kitchen and by now he kind of knows all the nooks & cranny of her house. .
And then begins a scene which could mean so much yet nothing if you went by just the words. No conversation starter required here just jumps right into it " I am from Lucknow too you know ..." but not before he so rightfully picks the rose from her hair. She does not object and simply takes it from his hand. No arguments, no fights just acceptance. And then Arnav & Khushi are back to the AR office challenging her to work for him for 15 days ...or is it that he will win the sangeet competition at all cost !!!
Deja Vu !! Lot has changed since then and I'd like to see how they both will react to this challenge now that the equation has changed and much is at stake and they each other better. ( I have a feeling it will lead to a Guest house situation instigated by Shyam but blamed on Arnav ...but let me stop speculating. )
Since the very start of this serial what has intrigued me is that why a character as Arnav/ASR who has seen the ugly side of the world is so disturbed by this chit of a girl that he is always hell bent on breaking her spirit . If he always wins and has the money and power to do so then why is he so bothered about defeating her. Will he be happy if he wins this round , I wonder. And then there is Khushi on the other side . Why is not loosing to Arnav/ASR so imporatnt to her . How come a man who says does not care about her mean so much to her that she needs an out right competition to challenge him ? What does she want ?
I wonder if this "competition" will help them answer these questions to themslves. Will there be any self realization or yet again the audience will be feel cheated. Can't say so will have to wait and watch.
