Yeah even i think so that is the reason!!
Because of this reason only he was against marriage also...he never really wanted to marry La...he was just doing it get KKG jealous!!

Yes but his bitterness is due to THAT wedding. Remember till then he was a naughty, fun loving kid. he turned bitter only AFTER that wedding & his mom's death. so he loved the sangeeth during anjali's wedding but the events during that wedding has left a bitter taste. thats how i assumed!

I hope it happens as you predicted as I think it is time we see Khushi beginning to understand Arnav/ASR better and that she starts to see that he has a vulnerable side to him!!!

I keep remembering that little scene from his past, where Angali is the bride, there is music, then the sound of a gunshot(?) before he (?) shouts "Ma!" - It would be so great if some of his distaste for fun marriage events is because of that, and then AFTER she wins the Sangeet competition, Khushi finds out about it, and has a moment of realization, and maybe begins to understand him better.

yes.. it wud be good if they start unfolding ASR's past now through the marriage celebrations!
