I didn't find it rude...i guess they consider her as part of their family and so did not show any such formalities.

Or we could assume that she was asked to eat with them and she declined the offer...but such a trivial matter was not shown in the scene..

well first of all serving food doesn't make u a nokkar... and as many said t makes u a part of the family..in fact a nayi naveli dulhan is prone to do what Khushi did of standing n serving n looking on as if how everything was n how everyone was eating the stuff she made!😆

but in this scene at least well i can pretty much assume she was too hyper to be confined to a seat for the whole drama to unfold...she needed to be mobile to act her part to conviction...anyway that is probably how Khushi's mind works!!
