And Arnav thinks for an answer!! A good one though!! He has to give a good answer himself, not like when he asked Khushi, "kya bolu ab", while playing a lil drama in front of Payal just before Payal's confession to Aakash!
*TU HI BATA MERE MAULA...TU HI BATA MERE RABBA...FASALE MILO KE HAI...*
Arnav looks at Khushi and Khushi looks at Arnav!
*DONO GAYE ALAG DISHA...KABHI YEH MIL PAYENGE, NAHI KISI KO HAI PATA, NAHI KISIKO HAI PATA*
*EK BAAT USMAIN BHI HAI, TOH EK BAAT USMAIN BHI HAI*
Arnav stares at Khushi with "sut samet pyar" in his eyes for her! He looks at her thinking "do I have to spend my whole life with this 'pagal'? Why did this happen? Why did I see her at 12 tonight??"
*HAI DHUP SA VOH AGAR...*
NK looks at Arnav thinking what is Naanav thinking?
*VOH CHANDANI RAAT SI HAI...*
Khushi stares at Arnav with a lot of love in her eyes for him! She looks all surprised thinking "kya hum apni puri zindagi Arnavji ke saath..? [Will I spend my whole life with Arnavji?] Par aisa kaise ho sakta hai? [But How is it possible?] Arnavji humse nafrat karte hai [Arnavji hates me],
*MIL PAAYE KABHI DONO...KYA TERI ISMAIN HAI RAZA...*
NK looks at Khushi thinking Khushiji has a lot of love in her eyes...but why?? Then he looks at Arnav!
*KYA TERI ISMAIN HAI RAZA...TU HI BATA MERE MAULA...*
Arnav now becomes angry and stares at Khushi thinking..."No...no, it is NOT possible!! Arnav Singh Raizada apni kismat khud likhata hai!!" [Arnav Singh Raizada writes his own destiny!] But then he looks down as soon as he remembers Khushi telling him in the temple that, aap jo bhi likhate hai, Devi Maiyaan aapka haath pakadake aapse likhavate hai! [Whatever you write as your destiny, Devi Maiyaan holds your hand and makes you write it!]!! Now he looks scared thinking if Khushi is right! If Khushi's Devi Maiyaan made me see Khushi at 12!!!

NK looks at Naanav all confused thinking Naanav gussa kyun ho raha hai??
*ISS PYAAR KO KYAA NAAM DOOON...?*
Khushi continues her thinking...Aur hum...hum...kya hum unse pyaar...? [And I...I...Do I love him?] She looks at Arnav with an unknown fear in her eyes!! She thinks, if Arnavji is the one with whom she will get married? Then she remembers La's pink Dupatta falling over her head thrown by Arnav! She looks even more scared now!!
*ISS PYAAR KO KYAA NAAM DOOON...!*
They both know deep down in their hearts that haan, humari next year ki and puri life ki setting ho gayi hai!
NK look at them both now thinking I have to break their eyelock!!! Gosh, they do not know where they are standing and what they are doing!!!
*THE SONG STOPS!*
NK: Naanav? Naanav? NAANAV?? [Yells]
Arnav: What??
Khushi looks all surprised and looks at NK!!
NK: Tum Khushiji ke backyard se kyun aaye??
Arnav: Voh...main...voh...umm...I don't know! [Thinking, that's a good question! Then comes back to his sense and says] I mean tumhe kya lagta hai, main yahan Khushi ko dekhne aaya tha? [I mean what do you think, I am here to see Khushi?] Mera dimaag kharab hai?? [Am I crazy?] Do you think, meri puri life ki setting ho gayi? [Do you think, my whole life has settle down with Khushi?]
Then he looks at Khushi with a "SORRY" in his eyes, while Khushi makes a "HAWWW" face!
Arnav continues: I mean, main in sab bato main nahi manta! Main to apni car main ja raha tha, tabhi...umm... [I mean, I don't believe in all these things! I was going to my car, and...umm...]
Khushi: Nanheji, voh Arnavji ko backyard se aage aane ka rasta nahi pata na iss liye woh ghar ke andar se aaaye, hamare piche piche!! [Nanhe ji, um, Arnavji does not know how to come to the main door from the backyard, so he came from inside the home, following me!]
NK looks all confused!
Arnav looks down kind of smiling at Khushi's bad explanation!! However, this one if worse that the one she explained to her Jiji, when she found Aakash's glasses lying on the ground, when they were acting about Aakash's death that "Akashji apna chashma utar ke kude honge, kam dikhayi deta to dar kam lagta, aur kudne main bhi aasani hoti!!"
Khushi: Nanheji, voh sab chhodiye na! Aap yeh batayie, aap kya khayenge?? Jalebiyaan khayenge? [Nanheji, forget all that! What do you want to eat? Do you want to eat Jalebiyaan??]
NK: Julabe??
Khushi laaughs and says: Nahi julabe nahi, jalebiyaan!! [No, not julabe, jalebiyaan!]
NK: Haan haan, main khaunga! [Sure, sure, I will!]
Khushi: Achha, rukiye, hum leke aate hai!! [Okay, wait, I will go get them!]
She turns back, and since Arnav is standing beside her, she looks at Arnav and asks, aur aap...?
Arnav: Khushi, you know I can't have...
Khushi: Hume pata hai aap ko meetha mana hai! Hum puchh rahe the ki aap ke liye chaye ya coffee ya aur kuch banau? [I know you are not allowed to eat sweets! I was asking if you want to have either tea or coffee or anything else?]
Arnav: Um, no, that's okay!
NK hears this convo and thinks wow, Khushiji knows so much about Naanav's likes, dislikes, and diseases!! And smiles thinking how lucky Naanav bhai is!
Khushi goes to the kitchen and gets a plate full of jalebiyaan! She gives the plate to NK in his hand and asks NK to have some!
Then she goes back to the kitchen and gets a plate full of Laddus!! [The same laddus Anjali fed him on Rakshabandhan! Yes, the same laddus that Khushi made! But unlike last time, this time they had no sugar since Khushi made them to take them to RM the next day, which was the 1st of Jan, 2012 and the 1st day of the New Year! So she made those laddus, sab ka muh meetha karane, and she made a few sugarless for Arnav specially, and a whole bunch full of sugar were packed in the kitchen!]
NK is busy eating the jalebiyaan and walks around the room looking at different "middleclass" cheeze in the main room!!
Khushi brings the sugarless laddus out in a plate and bends to put the plate on the table in front of Arnav! As soon as she bends, Arnav looks at her and then looks a bit at her neck, and then he turns his face AWAY!!
Khushi looks at him and thinks the reason of him doing so, and she SUDDENLY REALIZES THAT SHE IS NOT WEARING HER DUPATTA!! She stands still! She has not put the plate on the table yet, it is still in her hands! She looks all shy and emberrassed!!
*RABBA VE STARTS PLAYING*
NK is still lost in the pictures, and different sculptures, and things around the room!! He looks at them, wonders, and goes to the other room to find and looks at more of those so called "middleclass" things, leaving Arnav and Khushi alone in the main room!!
*RABBA VE IS STILL PLAYING*
Khushi looks very shy! Her cheeks turn red, and she turns a bit thinking what she would do now and only looks down!!
Arnav is still looking in the other direction! Away from Khushi! He then slowly looks at Khushi and feels kind of sorry and kind of emberrassed thinking what he would do now!! He is thinking and thinking and looking around and thinking and sees a dupatta on a chair in the corner! He goes towards it, take it in his hands, and comes near Khushi!
Khushi is very scared at this moment, thinking what he is doing!
*RABBA VE IS STILL PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND*
Arnav comes near her...She walks one step backwards! Then Arnav walks one step towards her and Khushi stands still thinking what is he doing!! She does not know what he is doing, she she is not looking at him, she is so shy, that, she only looks down!!
Arnav opens up the dupatta and places it around her neck! Then, pulls the rest hanging down up towards her neck, rubbing her left hand, that makes the plate shake a bit in Khushi's hand! Then, he does the same with her right hand, and the plate is almost falling and Arnav catches it in his hands!!!
They both look down, trying to not meet each others' eyes!!
Then Arnav slowly looks at Khushi and his eyes are trying to say sorry to Khushi! But Khushi does not look at Arnav, she is still looking down!!!
*RABBA VE IS STILL PLAYING*
Surprisingly, NK saw their actions since Arnav started putting the dupatta on, till now!!
And now he thinks, with his plate in his hands, "wow, Naanav is a lot more romantic than I thought!!"
He comes to the main room as if he has not seen anything and he does not know anything!! He comes out with Khushi's Devi Maiyaan's statue in his hands! He is looking at the statue!
NK: Khushiji...?
*RABBA VE HAS STOPPED*
Khushi and Arnav make difference! Arnav takes the plate in his hand and sits where he was sitting before!!
NK: Khushiji, yeh aapki Devi Maiyaan hai?
NK: Khushiji, yeh aapki Devi Maiyaan hai?
Khushi: Haan, nanheji (She takes the statue in her hands slowly), yeh hamari Devi Maiyaan hai! Inse hum sari baate karte hai, sari baate to hamare dil main hoti hai, sari sukh ki baate, dukh ki baate, agar hume kisi ne hasaya hai, agar hume kisine rulaya hai (looks at Arnav from the corner of her eye, not the immature way though)! Yeh hamari har jagah raksha karti hai! Aur sirf hamari hi nahi, sab ki raksha karti hai, chale aap inko mane ya na mane! [Yeh, this is my Devi Maiyaan! I talk to her about everything, whether I am happy or sad, if someone made me laugh or cry! She takes care of everone, whether you believe in her or not!]
She looks at Arnav as soon as she finishes saying, whether you believe in her or not, and Arnav looks at her with regret!!
NK: Achha!! [Oh!]
NK then looks at Naanav and says: Hey Naanav, tum meethai kabse khane lage? Tumhe to meetha mana hai na? [Hey Naanav, since when did you start eaating sweets? You are not allowed to have them, right?]
Arnav: Woh...main...
Khushi: Nanheji, woh...yeh meethai main sakkar nahi hai!! Yeh sakkar bina ki meethai hai, woh...Arnavji meetha nahi kha sakte na iss liye! [NK, this is sugarless meethai, Arnavji can't have meethai with Sugar, right? That's why!]
Then she looks at Arnav and says: Woh...Ar...Arnavji, aap yeh kha sakte hai, ismain sakkar nahi hai! [Um...Arnaji, you can have them! It does not have sugar!]
NK is thinking how come Khushiji knows that Naanav can't have meetha? And if she knows, then did she make this speical sweets only for Naanav? How careful of her!!! Impressive!!
Arnav eats a piece of Laddu!! As soon as he eats it, he remembers his Anjali Di's rakhi, and the atmosphere on that day!! He remembers praising the laddu, and Di saying that Khushi made this laddu this year!!
So, he looks at Khushi, and FINALLY SAYS the sentence he had in his eyes on the Rakhi day!!
He says to Khushi: Laddu achhe bane hai! [Laddus are good!]
Khushi becomes shy and looks concerened, and nods and smiles a bit!
NK: Khushiji, yeh julabe bhi bahot achhe bane hai!!! [Khushiji, this julabe is very good!]
Khushi: Sukriyaa Nanheji! Hum aur jyada banake aapko denge, kal, jab hum aayenge na dance ka abhyas (practice) karne ke liye! [Thank you Nanheji, I will give you more tomorrow, when I will come for the dance practice!]
NK smiles very big and nods!!
Meanwhile, Arnav is finishing that laddu, looks at Khushi, eats the laddu, looks down, looks at Khushi, eats the laddu, and thinks, "Khushi made the same laddu on Rakhi day! The day of Me and my Di!! She gave me happiness on that day in the form of the laddu!! She reminded me of my Di today by giving me the same Laddu! She gave me happiness again today by reminding me of my Di by giving me the same Laddu!! She gives me the same love as my Di!! My Di, who is my world, she is everything to me!! But hey, Khushi's love is similar to My Di's love!!! So, does this mean...?? Oh, does this mean, her Devi Maiyaan...?? Does this mean, do I lov...?? Oh waitt, what am I thinking???
He puts the plate back on the table!! NK and Khushi are giggling!! Arnav looks at them for disturbing him from his thinking! So, he looks at them both angrily!!
NK and Khushi stop giggling!! And all of a sudden...
Buaji: Ari o sanka devi...???
Everyone is SHOCKED!!!
