Cause there is nothing maha about them, they are quite a bore and it hardly moves the story along. The only thing good that came out was that Bua and all this can be beared in one episode and we don't have to deal with the tortured ring throughout the week, but I clearly would have liked if La and Arnav got engaged today so we can continue the damn story this week.

I guess Arnav and Khushi will tie the knot in jan.

This episode moved the story million times ahead. Yes, the love, respect and affection of Razaida's for Kushi, the bonding b/w La and Kushi, Arnav's silent acceptance of Kushi as his family member, him knowing about her engagement, everything were important ! And specially, Shyam loosing his cool indicating that he will not spare Kushi either when the truth is out to her.

These are very important and builds the base to that dirty bag's revelation !

The story can't move that fast...let it bloom in its own nature.
the ME ensures that shyam's truth is almost out and supports the idea that everyone in the RM trusts her and accepts her as a family member...thus when the truth does come out she has some support on her side for her character

Agree. My friends too share the same thought!
There's actually nothing maha.
My prediction was : The last ten minutes would be arnav knowing about khushi's engagement. 5 of it would be eye locks and sulken faces. and it happened.
The rest of the episode was bullshit. Seriously. had this been aired on a 'normal' scheduled episode, it would have been nice to watch. You can't waste a maha episode like this.
So the next maha episode will be arnav and La's engagement or Arnav realising his feelings for khushi i guess.
The 'maha' episode did not evoke that feeling of excitement. I kept on forwarding till Arnav-khushi scenes.
However, i really liked how arnav 'teased' khushi and how he was taken aback on learning.

I agree.

There is seriously nothing maha about the episodes. This stuff could also be shown in the usual weekly epis. Honestly, it was dragging.

its not just IPKKND but other shows as well.. i guess the shows are already given a schedule for a Maha epi every month.. and they hav to show something about the track even if its not something maha.. i thought ydays ME was a lot better than the previous one coz this had something.. not just ASR finding out about Khushi's engagement but they also showed the strong bonding between Khushi/Nani/La/Anjali.. makes u wonder wats gonna happen in the future.. will their bonding remain the same after everyone finds out abt Shyam? will La still trust Khushi after knowing abt her and ASR? so yea, even if the story is moving slow, the ME did have something! :)

I thought the maha epi was great! Things have finally moved forward, Arnav now knows Khushi is engaged. Now we can see Arnav's side of things, from his pain, frustration, anger to his knee jerk reactions. I doubt we will have to wait that long for Khushi and Arnav to get together.
