Main Cast:

Raizada:

1) Kaushalya Devi (Nani) : Mother of Gayathri Raizada and head of the family.

2) Dev Raizada: The head of the raizada business and is usually abroad. Married to Gayatri Raizada and later Manorma.

3) Gayathri Raizada: First wife of Dev Raizada and has 2 children Akaash and Anjali.

4) Manorma Raizada: Second wife of Dev and former maid of Gayathri raizada. Has one son Arnav only. Not a good relationship with her step kids.

5) Akaash: Elder son and the successor to the Raizada business. Arrogant, competitive business-minded and hot tempered. Not a social person and mostly prefers to work.

6) Anjali : Second child of Dev and the apple of everyones eye. Very down to earth, sensitive, helpful and sweet. Suffers from Polio in one leg.

Arnav: The last member of the raizada clan and the baby of the family. Irresponsible, careless, no sense of responsibility and all he wants in life is fun. Lives off the crumbs of his elder brother whom he secretly calls hitler and adores his sister. NOTE: a character similar to Shravan from baat hamari pakki hai.

1) Saashi Gupta: Former Major in the Army. Killed in action

2) Madhumati : Wife of Shashi and a overbearing loud women. Has 2 daughters Payal the elder and khushi the younger. Ever worried about both her daughter's marriage.

3) Payal: Elder daughter and a school teacher. Left her studies after her fathers death so as to supplement the income so that her younger sister could study.

4) Khushi: Timid and shy. Just completed her MBA and in search of a job.

Other Characters: may include random people from the serial

Synopsis:

Arnav loves fun and has never taken anything seriously in life. To him all life consist of is friends, parties, splashing money around and in short having a gala time. But a unexpected event changes his life, his brother is to be married soon, and he has just fallen for none other then his brother's dulhan.

PART 1

Arnav was sneaking across the room, it was 8 o clock in the morning and almost aarti time. If nani caught him he would have to stand for the whole morning aarti. His shoe slipped on some fallen ghee and he almost hit a nearby table, but the minute sound was enough for Kaushalya Devi to turn.

N: arnav what are you doing there? Come here.

Ar: yes nani 'dissapointed voice"

Anjali smile at him and he gave a crying face to her to show that he was unhappy. Nani's quick eye noticed that to but she kept quiet. He was always like this no sense at all only fun and play, just like his mother. Name the devil and here she came. Manorma swished her long sari across the threshold of the prayer room with her payal and bangles clanking loudly. Her loud colored sari resembled a rainbow then just piece of clothings. She touched nani's feet in respect but nani just frowned as usual. She had never accepted this woman as her son in law's wife. She had no idea why he married her at all. And the result of the marriage, that irresponsible and careless boy Arnav was a greater disappointment. Arnav was meanwhile picking his nose standing there bored. He would have preffered riding his bike across town then being here.

N: ARNAV….have some respect this is god's house.

Immediately he pulled his finger out and said sorry but on her turning inserted it again just to irritate her. Anjali touched his hand softly and whispered 'it will be over in a few minutes then you can go''.

A: but di……

N: shshshshshh

Arnav shut up and looked at his mom. She was setting her hair in the reflection of the window. 'mom'he whispered. She didn't hear so again he called out. Manorma turned but so did nani " tell your son manorma that either he pay attention to the aarti oe leave". Under his breath aranv whispered 'that's wat I was doing in the first place. Leaving'. Sorry nani he said and stood gloomly waiting for the aarti to finish. After the aarti, taking Prasad arnav fled from the place. Nani looked around then asked anajli "where is akash bitva?"

An: akaash he left early today. Said he had some meeting.

Akaash threw the file on his secretary's face "I wanted this done yesterday, and what do I get incomplete work??'. You are fired. Get out. "but sir.."the secretary protested but akaash caught his hand and pushed him out of the room. He hated such people. Picking up the phone he instructed the opposite person to find him a new secretary by tomorrow or he also could kiss his job goodbye.

The phone rang at the gupta residence. "hai re nandkhishore" madhumati exclaimed. Why wasn't anyone picking up the phone? Where were those two bandaryas. She got up to to take the phone but before she could reach, khushi came running in and took the phone. Shaking her head thinking if khushi had come earlier she wouldn't have to come all the way, madhumati turned to leave. But a loud excited scream stopped her in her tracks. Khushi was holding the phone and jumping up and down.

M: kaa hua??

K: my first interview call. I got my first interview call. She yelled in excitement. The job agency had called regarding a empty position as a secretary.

M; secretary??? But u have a MBA degree then how can u take a secretary's job.

K: are amma, till I get a permanent job I can work as a secretary. It will atleast boost our income. They said its temporary till they find another suitable candidate as the job needs to be taken immediately.

M: hai re nandkishaore….then its ok. I don't want you wasting your time working as a secretary when you can get a better job.

K: don't worry amma. I will find one.

Precap; khushi peeped throught the door and her heart gave a leap. Akaash stood with his back to the door yelling at someone "not one good candidate you can find to take my secretary;s position?? Not one?? The next candidate is the last one right?? If he isn't suitable enough then you can pack your bag." Khushi hiccupped in fear and ASR (akaash singh raizada) turned. 😲
