The creatives need to credit us with intelligence and move the story on...We, clever fans do not need to be spoonfed every conversation and scene to comprehend the storyline...aka the engagement scene fiasco...the ring going from Arnav to Di to the milk glass..to dadi and then to Arnav. For god's sake use the precious airtime and the amazing lead actors you have, to tell us entertaining and interesting stories..;😭

i agree, its such a waste of time. Even if they don't do a lot of the dun dun dun (repeat frame, repeat frame, repeat frame) that other serials do, they still find stupid ways to drag the story.

Having watched shows where the story is rushed (specifically the last one made by the same production house) I am infinitely grateful that they are tking their time and NOT rushing the show

I'm enjoying the slow, dragging pace- for now

Agreed, no need to rush it, but there is also no need to stagnate it and treat us like imbeciles. The story should dictate the pace, not the CVs!

Agree with your post! For instance, in yesterday's episode Payash scene was sweet but the pace was so slow...

The ring scene will go on and on till Maha Epi! Anjali could have asked Arnaav to kept the ring and give it back to Shyam himself so as not to spoil the supposed surprise but no they had to ahead and do a whole roundabout for a ring! šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼

It's as if they are trying to gain time...Why?...For TRP ratings ...since they know that audience will watch no matter what since the jodi's chemistry keeps us glued to our screenšŸ˜†.

I've formerly watched a serial where chemistry between leads matched Arhi's, CVs have subsequently ruined it with their inconsistent tracks/twists...well, as you said give us some credit CV and we want IPKKND to remain special.

Totally agree. Keep a good pace. Finish this one and work on next. It could be difficult to get the same kind of response initially with a new serial but be good enough to get back the audience instead of dragging one story endlessly and eventually spoiling it.

I think pacing is very critical for IPK. There is a bit of back forth in this show with ARHI loosening and tightening their attraction for each other. One episode gives you a Jhatka with their strong chemistry and the next episode throws cold water on all the passion.

One of the critical things in romantic tales (as sources from Regency romance books MB book etc), is that their is strong sexual tension between the leads. There is also refreshing scenes in between that dissipates that tension somewhat. Also, the characters are allowed opportunities to interact normally and then thrown in to situations where their desire is stirred for each other. This is a balancing act and not all writers can get this right. So far I have to give my thumbs up to CVs for doing a fantastic job of Diwali episode and the treatment of anguish in KKG and ASR after that.

I think it would help CVs to know how long they plan to prolong the show. Lets say they want to run the show for 2.5 years, then they have a canvass to work on and can decide quarter by quarter how they wish to progress the story. While a quarter is running, they can always add funny filler episodes.

Most serials lose their charm because they dont have an end date in mind. They keep stretching the show driving characters and plot lines stale. It behooves a good CV team to put an end date in mind and work backwards to give us constant pacing and meaningful progression.

I would lfor them to push the envelope on Censor board a bit when it comes to ARHI scenes (hint hint)

I think they do this because they absolutely have to do this... the actors can't work more than the 12 hr CINTAA rule and they look already overworked plus I think the script's not ready in advance... and the director takes several takes before liking a shot and even then we get so many bloopers!! lol... so I personally don't think they can do anything about it.

My suggestion would be to fill that time with scenes of PayAsh!!
