And I know, it is important to build a bridge btw these two warring tribal factions of ASR & Kh and that bridge is mutual parental loss (though it cud also have been LOVE post-Diwali had ASR had any sense and no ego!), and it is important to keep bringing the dead parents cos Kh and ASR's past will play a huge role in creating tension in future tracks.

BUT SINCE WRITERS ARE REPEATING EVERYTHING AFTER 2 WONDERFUL WEEKS OF DIWALI AND MANDIR TRACKS - when the story shud have taken an entirely different route, of ASR regretting his decision, or missing Kh, or ASR seeking Kh through ridiculous excuses, or Kh bumping into ASR in sm shop or on her street, ASR feeling the heat of pressure of marriage etc. etc. - WE ARE SUBJECTED TO THE SAME-OLD SAME-OLD DEADBEAT (LITERALLY) DEAD PARENTS!!! The only good thing out of the whole conversation was ASR's line 'Are they happy watching us as we are?' - even though that line shud have been said in a different setting instead of Kh landing in RM again! to do the same old dumb jumping, miming, falling, being saved by ASR, insulted by ASR routine of 4 months ago - cos these two had a near-kiss and THEY CANNOT GO BACK TO CHATTING AS IF IT'S 'THE GREAT APOLOGY SEGMENT' ONCE AGAIN!

It was also strange to see these two UNDER THE SAME POOL WHERE THEY DID THE PAYAL, NEAR-KISS AND WHERE ASR WAS SPEECHLESSLY THINKING WHAT HE HAD ALMOST DONE WITH KH! Why go back to the same place, same time of night (where ASR lost himself in Kh), And here they were chatting and REFLECTING about what could have been as old lovers rather than lovers-that-never-were! The line shud have come after some self-reflection and regret and MUCH MUCH SUFFERING on ASR's part, and not in Day 2 after again insulting Kh! Maybe once ASR had agreed to atleast HIMSELF that he had made a mistake Diwali night by breaking Kh's heart and ending his own future happiness with a low aukaat girl. But no, no reflection on ASR's part, no regret, no sorry-just again a brutal statement JUST LIKE WHAT A MARRIED MAN MIGHT SAY TO HOOK UP WITH AN AVAILABLE OLD FLAME!!!

Anyways, the precap was the only thing I watched-for the simple reason that every1 was talking abt it. I have stopped watching this serial (4 episodes and counting) and don't plan on resuming TILL WRITERS FIX UP THE BOTCHED-UP NARRATIVE AND PLACE THESE CHARACTERS WHERE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE AFTER THE DIWALI AND MANDIR SCENES! That is apart, lonely, frustrated and NOT IN THE SAME DAMN RM AGAIN WITH KH MONKEYING SIGN LANGUAGE AND ASR INSULTING KH! These characters reached a verbal ('it meant nothing, u r not important') and physical (near-kiss) point beyond the falling-into-pool and scolding-Kh-over-missed-messages.
