At first, it seemed that the whole double-engagement really put a giant bullet in 4 Lions reputation of being original. Buttt, they do everything in a unique, yet real and beautiful way. In GHSP they did the typical 'two brothers' thing in such a unique and AWESOME way that I was left 😃. So I'm going to trust them with this.
I was frustrated by the judai scene being followed by Khushi immediatly returning to RM. But then I got to thinking...exactly what are they doing here???
Its wonderful writing, I have to agree. It simultaneously shows him moving further away from Khushi (or trying to), while moving closer to her emotionally. His behaviour with La is callous and it makes me angry, but at the same time deepens his story with Khushi in a strange way. What does this mean then? Will ASR actually marry La??😲😲 No. I can't accept that lol. Maybe its a way of having ASR learn that running isn't possible. Or that when you run, bad things happen. Like, Khushi and Shyam jodi, or when ASR finally wants to have something with Khushi, she will be hesitant, because she is friends with La. I guess its writers way of having this 'callous playboy type' learn a lesson the hard way when it comes to mistreating a woman.
Khushi's Behaviour: Her inability to stay away from RM is kiling me right now. I know that Anjali, Nani, and La like her, and scheme to get her there, but still... Its annoying. He DOESN'T want to see you!😠I don't care that La is your friend (although she and every other RM household member treat her like the 'help' that she is) I don't care that ASR is sending mixed messages. The only thing you should be considering right now, is that he is engaged, and it was to train La into being Raizada worthy that you came into this house. Do you have no pride? What happened to the Pride and Prejudice influenced story that was eluded to earlier on? But then I think that it is her pride that allows her to come face to face with him again and again. She becomes "Chamkili" once more, and parades around in his house with her pom-poms like nothing happened. Is that why they keep on finding ways for her to interact with ASR right now? Is this a way of communicating her prideful nature? It seems a stretch...but, Maybe so, because pride would allow you to show no emotion, and staying away, or blasting someone, would be an admission of sorts.
So lets try to reason this out, shall we?
What is 4 Lions doing then, by creating two character's whose behaviour is soo unpredictable?
What do all of you think? What is going on in ASR and Khushi's heads? Do they love each other (yet)? And where do La and Shyam come in?
