warning: this is gonna be long

omg, i seriously love you for this, this is exactly what i always think when is see those types of topic. thinking about it makes my head hurt. i come on this forum to enjoy not go "oh here we go again" "not this again". it's very repetitive, i mean i'm all for opinions and criticism, but some people take it too far. i agree it's just a t'v show but even so it's not like real life is perfect either. and thats what i like about this show, it has a sense of realism and a characters reaction to a situation seems real, well at least for me, because i can relate knowing thats how i would have acted.

any who i also agree that any good drama need conflict, it's like everyone here hates conflict. but what people don't realize is that conflict is a very important part of life, just as it is important in this dramas. why, because conflict = growth. what i mean is that conflict makes characters grown as a person and makes them realize their true capabilities, it test them as well as their relationship and makes it stronger , its there to make or break them. i like seeing that happen, i don't like it if they stay the same from the beginning to the end. everything needs villains and conflict. books have conflicts and that why many people become more addicted, they want to see how this will happen and the the hero/heroine will come out of this and if they don't like whats happening at the current stage then they can always skip to the end and see if it worth finishing. now you can't do that with Hindi serials you need to go with it day by day and let the cv's/directors/producers do their job.

if everything was hunky dory, and we got arhi 24/7 romancing it up then sooner or later everyone would loose interest and it would become redundant.

also another good point you made was, about them realizing their love and getting married, now don't get me wrong i want that to happen but not soo sooon, your right whats gonna happens after marriage if they love each other, the story might as well finish there. because we all know shows were everything is perfect, and really when that happens it gets boring.

sorry if this was long.

My dear Lucky, Do you think in 1965 they never invited the boy's family for engagement?😉 If they didn't the marriage would be OFF...
The creative liberty the CVs take is out of this world. It is highly illogical. But at the same time its comical.I wanted fake parents for Shyam..Never happened..😆

I too expected the same thing he may get fake parents to kushi's house, may be in future it may happen in order to marry kushi he may do this also, wht i mss so much is comic in the serial.these days we get lot of tension in the serial,so better to get comic roles as Shyam's parents😆

So I have been noticing from past week or so there has been a lack of fun/ interesting/ intelligent posts where a person can read it /reply it and then forget about it. Why are there suddenly a rise in Agitated posts, Accusing posts ,Abusing/Basing posts etc ?

I, along with many of you ,am an ardent fan of IPKKND. Its high time people realize its just a work of FICTION and all the characters are fictional. It is human to empathize with the characters but there is no need to get so involved in it that it becomes a reality for you and all the characters become real to you.I do agree that all the actors are portraying their parts so well that we get so involved in the show but at the end of that 22mins on TV the actors get back to their real world and so should we.

Have fun ,Enjoy the show for 20 min duration, Discuss about it in a friendly manner,Don't divide yourself into different actor's camps and hopefully don't stress yourself more. Real life is much more stressful and lets come here on IF for relaxing and having fun.

Stop the Whining!!!

Sorry for ranting.

Note to newbies on site: Take your time.Read the rules, posts, help desks instead of making 100s of irrelevant posts which will be closed.

I have difficult time selecting the posts to read. Most of the times I open a post and see just a one-liner about something which is not even relevant.

Agree with you, somzz ... I think part of the problem is the current track, which honestly is very lame and unoriginal ... the forced engagement to the villain, and we all are just waiting for hero to step in and rescue heroine ... there is no originality or suspense at all so there is nothing to discuss in the story at the moment ...

hence people pick up small issues and blow them up out of proportion ... once is all right, you make your point, but repeatedly the same topics again and again is annoying! I don't even open many topics on the forum these days ... I just go to the San AT where I can at least have some healthy discussion on the storyline ... some ranting happens there also, but it's not over the top.

and yes it is very important to recognise that this is a work of FICTION ... if the characters hit close to reality , that is a compliment to the way they have been written and acted ... otherwise IPKKND is a simple love story, like a fairy tale ... it has to be taken that way. And there is ugliness in real life, IPKKND and ALL other shows show a slice of it , but always in exaggerated form ... that's why it's called drama. True to life stories don't have too many takers ... who wants to relive one's own boring life on screen ... people want entertainment and serials provide them that. If it disturbs you, seriously, don't watch it ... I watch another far more disturbing show on SP and I love it ... I never go to that forum or discuss it, and I find I enjoy it far more! The more the discussions, the more you tend to pick holes and the more the bashing ... just chill, people!

Sorry for the long rant! 😉 And thanks for this post ... it was needed!

I don't expect anything less from a PH which had its lead (t-e-e-g 😆) 2 month pregnant for a whole year only to end the baby's life..Sadistic PH..It should have never shown that track.

👏 👏 👏 Sweety Did you breathe in?
I love when ppl warn and then vent 😆

So ya what do we get if Shyam and all problem is out of its way ..And ArShi are together..Lets checkout some scenarios and corresponding shows you can watch...

Marital bliss- Sasural Ghenda phool

Marital Misery- Saathiya Saath Nibhana

In-laws Problem- Pratigya

Money problem-Pavitra Rishta

Stalker problem- Geet

Vampire/Werewolf problem- Pyar ki Yeh ek kahani

If we have any of these tracks IPKKND is copying!!!! 😆

somzz i think at times ppl get tad bit more emotional and carried away due to what's been portrayed on screen like you have correctly mentioned. chances are high for ppl to forget it's just a fiction after all

But WHY do they forget that they are watching a FICTION ??

Why do members forget that it is a vision of another person..Why then y do u project ur views and demand that it shud be included instead of waiting to see how the Story writer unravels his vision...Often times I have seen members jumping the gun [after watching a bit piece in SBS/BB or precap] and saying Khushi shud not do this/that, Arnav cannot do this/that even before the scene has been aired ...Such impulsiveness has to be curbed since most of the times it vitiates the atmosphere ..
